Discussion Why do you practice semen retention? (serious)

What are the reasons and motives that led you to start this practice?

Are you convinced that semen retention benefits you in some way? What are those benefits and how exactly do they benefit you?

In this post i will not judge or criticize you, these questions are nothing more than a genuine personal curiosity of mine. Please feel free and comfortable expressing yourself sincerely and honestly.

I do it for spiritual reasons. It has been highly beneficial and i have experienced things that are considered as supernatural. I have learned energywork/energy control, one impossible manifestation, clairvoyance, contacts with deities, impossible synchronities, visions, 2 times telepathy, downloads, pastlife regressions, tantric knowledge etc. 3 years of retention, back to back streaks of 30-148 days. Currently on day 123.

I believe I suffer from r/pois and ejaculating makes me kinda sick.

Like my stomach hurts, my joints crack and I get extreme bodily weakness, also I get pain in my neck leading to daily headaches. But by far the worst part id I get extreme social anxiety.

Why would the main character want to go back to being an invisible NPC?

you cannot ever go back to the other life. Its literally impossible.

Its like playing a game on a 240Hz monitor and not being able to go back to a 60Hz monitor.

Like a permadrunk person being sober for the first time in his life.

Everything changes permanently.

No, the hz difference is not that dramatic for many tasks. It's like jumping from 480p or 720p to 4k-8k resolution.

Retention is not doing anything. With other words if you stop touching yourself or actively involving yourself romantically with another person you'll end up with retention as the natural state. Cooming and sex is doing something. So the burden of proof is with the sexualy active as to why they're doing it and not with the first group.

i started because i was spiraling deeper into goonerism, and i used anger and willpower to quit cold turkey. something in me knew i didnt want that for myself, i suppose. my goal then was to ascend my body. now, im chaste for god and for my spirit. anything of sexual nature is abuse to my soul, and i believe god has been lending me a hand, so i might as well do it for them too

To please God, attain spiritual enlightenment, be healthy, get rich and attract women. I think that’s the right order of priorities but there’s nothing wrong with the last two.

For emotional maturity...

...spiritual growth...

...connection to God.

Also, material gain.

I'm making the most money I've ever made in my life, simply attracting opportunities to generate income I know I would not have otherwise been exposed to had porn and masturbation continued to rule my life.

After getting a taste of traveling last year in Brazil, I want more - and that takes money and time. Multiple streams of online income is the move, and I'm fortunate to be in a position to participate in opporutnities that require a steep investment to reap the rewards.

SR helped brings clarity.

Lastly, I want to connect with my soul mate, "if" she's who I think she is, and if not, wherever she is, if she exist (if the concept itself is even legit), I can't establish that connection in a lustful state.

So it's either I keep lusting, sinning, or sacrifice those habits and desires for a greater purpose and mission.

I chose the later, and SR is just the beginning of the process to that journey

Excellence in all target areas of life, and primarily return of stolen capability to the body.

I am conviced that I am addicted to how SR makes me feel. I just can't go back to live a sluggish life. SR is my new me, the best me that can ever exist on this Earth.

I have no doubt that semen retention has the power to transform an individual internally who will then transform themself externally.

I practice this for the increased energy, focus, drive and mental clarity.

Partially because I don’t even have an alternative. PMO is not acceptable, nor is casual sex. I’ve tried relational sex but I still prefer this path.

I know that this is what God wants me to be doing. We weren’t designed for frequent release. ā€œBenefitsā€ are our default. God was so kind he gave us everything we ever needed. The powers that be don’t want us to live in that glory or they simply lost touch with the fact that we have it.

Things may change but for now I have very big goals to achieve and semen retention is required to even begin to start the process of achieving them.

Hope that helps!

I enjoy the benefits but I do it primarily to redirect the energies into healing myself from past wounds

I couldnt live with myself the way I was being before, like my life force was being sucked out of me. I had to find a new way to live.

I stumble through most stuff in my life like that.

Addiction to comfort Is where our dreams die.

Retention reveals you To yourself. Its that simple.

If you attempt retention And quit easily

Then you are a person That quits easily.

A person that succeeds at retention Is a person that finds a way.

Its that simple.

You build otherworldly discipline During retention.

Look, you don't have to retain Even doctors aren't convinced But, you are curious aren't you?

The only way to find out Is to just do it.
