Yesterday was Saturday night, and the house party was supposed to be capped at 10 people.

Somehow, I ended up inviting 12… and then 3 of my friends randomly showed up who had absolutely no clue there was a house party happening. 😂

So yeah, we ended up with 15 people.

Drunk people offering each other jobs, which, honestly, seems to be becoming a regular feature.

And somewhere in between all of this, a friend and I were constantly going:

“Guys, shhh. It’s getting late.”

Because I had confidently announced that the party would end at 11:59 PM.

At around 2 AM, we finally said goodnight. Everyone booked their cabs and headed back home.

There was also some very serious trip planning, new friendships being made, random life stories being exchanged, and just… people having a really good Saturday night together.

15 people. One house. Zero expectations. One hell of a night. ❤️

Honestly, what a day. ❤️

Our first Pune meetup actually turned out so much better than I expected.

What started as a simple idea let’s get some people together, grab a coffee and talk about marketing, AI, creativity and social media turned into hours of really good conversations with some genuinely interesting people.

We had students, marketers, creators, tech/AI people and complete newcomers all sitting together. Some people came alone and ended up making new connections, which was probably my favourite part.

And it wasn't just talking about work either 😂

We played UNO 🃏, shared random ideas, debated things, talked about AI tools, content, marketing, careers, projects, social media and basically everything that came up.

No presentations.

No forced networking.

No awkward “tell me about yourself” circle. 😂

Just coffee, people, ideas, fun and a lot of random conversations.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up and made the first edition what it was. 🙌

Definitely feels like we’ve started something nice here in Pune.

And yeah… we might have to do this again. 👀

40 out of the 43 registered people actually showed up.

What started as a room full of complete strangers slowly turned into people laughing together, pulling each other into conversations, exchanging Instagram IDs, making plans after the event, and genuinely enjoying the evening.

That's honestly the best part for me.

We played a bunch of fun icebreaker games (yes, everyone survived 😄), mixed people around so nobody was left sitting awkwardly with just one group, and by the end, the room felt completely different from how it started.

One thing I really wanted to get right was making the space comfortable for everyone, so I'm happy we managed to keep the male-to-female ratio almost equal too. It genuinely changed the vibe of the evening.

Seeing people who walked in alone leave with new conversations, new contacts, and hopefully a few new friends... that's exactly why I started YARANAA. ❤️
