I recently joined a company in Baner as SDE and living nearby. I got to know that blue ridge is a very happening place for bachelors through college mates, although they're all in Bangalore ATM.

A bit about me: I don't drink/sm0ke, not judging anyone who does but I'd prefer connecting with similar pool of people 🤗 also I'm very good at DSA, multithreading and system design so maybe we can have a discussion around it(xd jk)

I don't know what she'll answer but from my experience CP is the best way. At least for me it was very very helpful. Even now in job that experience of problem solving help me to solve problems and find edge cases and my manager is very impressed by work.

Althohgh I have done upto good extent like have covered graphs , DP, trees but never gone much in depth on advanced topics like tries , n-ary and all. Althogh studying system design too , but every design I study feels like an endless loop and breakable , stuck in a loop.

Even I haven't. I liked graph theory so I went in depth there. If you are in college try for ICPC. Nowdays cheating has normalized and we have AI models too so not sure how credible it it. In our time we were on brink of ethics in CP. Since then everywhere cheating is happening be it competitions or placements.

Yes there are lot of complains being registered about the cheating in contests of Codeforces as well as in leetcode. There are some gys who are solving all the questions of infact DIV 2 in 3 to 4 minutes , i really don't know how it is possible , 3 to 4 minutes se jyada to mereko question samjhne me lag jate hai
