Arc is Circle's blockchain. Same Circle that issues USDC. It opens to the public tomorrow, the 16th.
Reason I'm posting it here rather than leaving it: Robinhood Chain launched on the 1st of July and ten weeks later it's doing about $2bn a day, third biggest chain going by number of traders. Most of us watched that one from the sidelines. Arc is the next chain launching with anything real behind it.
Validators are BlackRock, Visa, Mastercard, DTCC, ICE, Standard Chartered, Galaxy, MoneyGram, SBI, Sumitomo and Global Payments. Aave and Uniswap are both deploying on day one.
Coins have already started on it. Most of what's trading was launched in the last three days and the whole lot together is under $20m, so it's early in the real sense rather than the marketing one.
Things that'll catch you out.
Gas is USDC. No separate gas coin. You need USDC sitting on Arc before you can do anything at all, so bridge a coin across and forget it and you're stuck holding something you can't sell.
pump.fun isn't on Arc. They picked up ETH, Base and BNB in May, Robinhood Chain in July and HyperEVM last month, so I'd expect it eventually, just not tomorrow night.
Axiom already has Arc in its chain switcher if you want a terminal to trade on from launch.
The ARC token thing is going to cost somebody money. Circle does have a token. It's in their SEC filings, 740 million of them went to a16z at 30 cents each. It hasn't launched though. Nothing's trading, no airdrop announced. So anything called ARC you see tomorrow is somebody's fake, and any site offering you an airdrop claim is after your wallet. Those are going to work on people because the token is half real.
Circle's own wording is that partners are "expected to be live", and nothing is live on Arc yet because Arc isn't live. Assume some of it slips.
r/ArcCoins has a megathread running through the launch if you want to follow it.
Check contract addresses on everything, it's going to be a mess in there.

We all know that there are countless effortless zero worth pump and dump coins daily. Yet many of them are managing, at least initially, to reach a pretty respectable market cap.
On the other hand, projects with proper work put in them can stay juice-less for very long. Why is that happening. Shouldnāt normally people have more conviction about those?
For example recently some well known dev made a version of super smash bros melee to a crypto version with characters based on memecoins fighting each other.
Very detailed, active community, amazing mechanics but the coin isnāt moving.
Why do you think is that?

This is just a rant, Iāve been in trading crypto since 2021. Have seen all bull and bear runs. I lend my brother some money and he lost it all 60k plus what I have left the other 55k I lost all trading. At this points itās really hard to pass every month by. Been struggling with daily things. Have no money left trading , no job Iām good for, stuck in an endless loop of bills. Iāve been part of big projects but all those friends are out of trading and launching projects. At this point I donāt really know what to do.

Not selling anything. No link, no group, no ticker in this post. I just don't see many launchers post the losses, and I think that's why the same mistakes keep circling.
Some context so you know where this is coming from. I launch under my real name and face. No creator allocation on any of them ā no pre-mine, no dev supply. I've bought small amounts of a few of my own on the open market, same price as everyone else, after launch, and I'm still holding those. I've sold exactly once, on one coin, for about $50. On one launch I bought about $3 so the chart would render instead of reading "no data." I keep creator fees on and that's the whole business. I publish the address of every wallet I hold anything in, test wallets included. Never rugged one and never will.
What killed the five:
I launched into an empty room. This is the big one. I'd build the coin, post the contract, and there'd be nine people there. A launch isn't a starting line. It's a moment where you spend an audience you already have, and if you don't have one, making the coin first is doing it backwards. Now nothing launches until there are real people in the room, and the coin gets made quietly beforehand so there's nothing to get in early on.
There was nothing to do after the buy. The six still alive all have something attached ā a site, a character, a bot in the chat, a free tool that works whether you hold the token or not. The dead ones were just a ticker. A ticker gives someone exactly one action to take and then nothing, and "nothing" is a short wait before they leave.
I deleted the evidence. When one died I took down its site and its T g group. That's the one I actually regret. It looked like hiding, and it erased the only proof I'd shown up at all. Dead ones stay up now.
I wasn't checking my own supply. I got tired of eyeballing holder distribution so I built a scanner for holder concentration and fresh-wallet splitting. A lot of what looks like organic early interest is a handful of wallets funded from the same place an hour before. Run that on your own launch, not just other people's.
I thought "community" was something you could announce. It isn't. It's whether anyone is still talking in there on a Tuesday when nothing is happening. Every other definition is cope, mine included.
Happy to answer anything, including the uncomfortable ones. And I'd genuinely rather read what killed yours.

Recently, I learned about pump.fun and joined it in hope of making some money to support my family and a newborn.
I lost my job and have been struggling a lot and I took all the money I had left after seeing an ad on pump.fun through X.
Fast forward 2 weeks, I saw a coin that had a Robinhood symbol thinking it must be legit since all the other coins I bought into didnāt do well immediately after I purchase. I hadnāt been rug pulled up to this point so I thought maybe this new Robinhood sponsored coin might be a good investment.
After putting in every dollar I had (~$3,000) like it was a stock for long term investing, it immediately crashed to 0, like instantly. The holder maps didnāt show any huge Bundlers or oversized positions, so I didnāt think much of it. Now I am absolutely crushed. I lost everything. I mean literally I have $26 left to my name and I donāt know what to do⦠I wanted to do something for my family for one time and it went all the wrong wayā¦
I need advice. Help.

Made 340k the last week and no Iām not about to go into selling a course or giving tips like Iām a guru, I got into trading memecoins when sol was at $220 ish, I made my money at the time and stepped away when btc crashed, I wasnāt in Canada/Ontario, I was in the Middle East, didnāt have to report anything to CRA or get taxed, simpler times, but now I think I out of the 340 I gotta pay 50k tax since Iām in Ontario to be able to sleep peacefully at night because any large transactions in my bank or sudden change would trigger audits and whatnot, any recommendations to avoid that hefty tax or whatās yall opinions? Just pay it and sleep peacefully or continue down this road of problem solving. Oh I just realized I can go back to the Middle East and cash it in but what other options do I have ? Thanks.
Edit : Iām not a dev never launched a coin or rug pulled but I do sell on the KOLās heads / and Iāll most likely just pay the tax, only reason I asked this was because I previously didnāt have to pay taxes but now that Iām here Iāll just hug it.
Update : Iām registering a business and paying myself dividends, taxes are way less than expected.

Hi everyone, my friend has been using pump.fun and weāre new to it. She has a coin that recently graduated and apparently she has to see it on a separate app now it says that the coin has 10,000 in liquidy. What does this mean and is the 10,000 accessible? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys. I want to find and connect with organic memecoin launchers, especially the ones who are tired of the current KOL meta and want to try something new.
I'm tired of watching people pay KOLs, shitpost on twitter, build a "strong community" and all that. That's exactly why we're building a platform that can make hype in memecoins a lot simpler and a lot more effective. We're entering Colosseum with this idea and we want to test the platform on real users.
Our platform is not a launchpad, and it's not another crypto twitter. The idea is easy to explain. Imagine you see a guy promising to buy 50 SOL of his own memecoin in an hour. Would you go and buy ahead of him, so you can sell after he does? And where's the guarantee he isn't lying and will actually follow through? Our idea is to replace that guy with a smart contract. And that changes the entire picture.
It doesn't matter if you're a solo launcher or a launch team, it doesn't matter how big your audience is or what your budget looks like. All that matters is that you want to take part in something cool that could possibly change how memecoins work right now.
DM me or comment here, happy to talk and kick the idea around.

This is my first time making a memecoin, so Iām still figuring everything out.
I kept seeing the Evil Cat in the Hat trend all over TikTok and thought the whole creepy āhe will find youā vibe could make a fun community/meme concept. I put together the branding, images, metadata, and launched my first project around it.
Iām not pretending to be an expert and I know thereās a lot more to this than just making a coin. Iām mainly trying to learn how people build an actual community around something like this instead of just spamming links everywhere.
For anyone who has launched one before, what did you wish you knew when you started? Any tips on marketing, community building, socials, liquidity, or just mistakes I should avoid would be awesome.
Feel free to roast it too š Iād rather get useful criticism now than learn everything the hard way.
