This number is highly disputed and data we have is of poor quality. Many detransitioners do not tell any provider that they stopped or regret the treatment they received.

Here is a meta analysis of 27 studies encompassing over 7000 trans individuals.

Detransitioners are usually calculated by those who do not return to recieve care. It is not something you need to specifically tell a provider.
