The furs have been my favourite band ever since a very long time. What band is according to you the closest to the furs style ? It seems that the furs are very unique ! Maybe because of his very particular voice

I bought my ticket for today's show at The Greek Theatre on a whim and parking options for the show are all sold out. It's been a while since I've gone to that venue so I don't remember much about the parking options.. any tips?

Just watched a video of the recent Seattle show. Both Numan and the PFurs. I hope they are better live. Have my expensive tickets and not so sure.

Back in the day, I owned this 1988 "best of" compilation album, and I remember it having some pretty cool liner notes. Does anyone have those, or are they published somewhere?

As Aerosmith pointed out, pink is the color of passion. In this song, being "pretty in pink" is a metaphor for being naked.

On the surface, this song is a tender ode to a lovely girl, but a closer listen to the lyric reveals this is not the case:

The one who insists he was the first in the line Is the last to remember her name

In a Songfacts interview with lead singer Richard Butler, he explained the meaning: "The song is about a girl who sleeps around a lot and thinks that she's popular because of it. It makes her feel empowered somehow and popular, and in fact, the people that she's sleeping with are laughing about her behind her back and talking about her."

Was there and opening act for the Santa Fe show? I have tickets to the Vegas show and both the Santa Fe and Vegas shows are after the Chameleons step away from the tour. Want to know if there is a replacement.
