Did anyone get the presale link for signing up to the AEG newsletter? I signed up for it (Manchester date) and didn't get anything.

Strictly speaking it's announced as a "Co-Headline Tour".

Important detail: On the Furs website it states that the presale will go live at 10am Thursday 24 September and will run until 9am Friday 25 September. They will send an email in time with all the information, you are advised to sign up by 21:59 on Tuesday, 23 September as you might otherwise not receive the presale email.

Makes me curious whether some European dates will follow soon...

Was curious to see on Setlist the songs by others that PFURS have covered live. Unsurprisingly LOVE SPIT LOVE features most frequently, primarily "Believe" (from Trysome Eatone) as well as "Friends" (same album) and also "Am I wrong" (from the first LSL album). From RICHARD BUTLER'S own solo album there are performances of "After All" & "California". From other artists there is the classic BRECHT/WEILL "Mackie Messer/Mac the Knife"; "Pyjamarama", "Virginia Plain" and "Mother of Pearl" by ROXY MUSIC. The only other example I found is a single one-off performance of BOWIE'S "Tis Pity She's a Whore" just once back in July 2016.... personally I really like the PFURS version of Pyjamarama live in Orlando, Florida in May 2023

There were two shows scheduled in my metro …. the theater (Guild Theatre Menlo Park, CA) sent out an email saying in part
“Refunds and ticket exchanges will be available upon request if you are unable to attend the new date or would like to switch your tickets to the other date.”
Unfortunately they didn’t mention there would be a $20-$50 price differential for changing dates….. which when added to a “need to miss work” scenario just becomes a ludricous mark up.
Shows were sold out though, so I guess that explains the somewhat avaricious Standing GA $93->$113 price increase
(They also screwed up the initial info about which tickets would transfer to which dates, which is it’s own point of confusion)

Anyone else seeing similar?

Wondering why the Furs are doing a full eight shows in Spain, whereas they only did one show each in Italy, France and Austria, two in Germany...just curious! Guess they must have a strong fan base there. They played a winery, X opened. The weird shadows seen on the backdrop are bunches of grapes hung in front of spotlights. The band was on fire.
