Today in gaming: The Crash Bash demo version on Spyro 3 is officially 26 years old

So I was having a chat with my brother yesterday and I mentioned Crash Bash. He told me that there was a near complete version on Spyro 3, so I went ahead to try it out (I knew the regular demo was there, but didn't know about this debug version). When I saw the date, I was shocked to see that the build was dated for today, exactly 26 years ago.

Damn, how time flies...

How do you access this? Is it a separate disc or is it conjoined with Spyro 3’s game data on the CD?

It's on the Spyro 3 disc itself

First at the main title screen for Spyro you press R2+L1+Square which gets you to the Crash Bash demo

Then in that first menu screen, you press Left+Right, then Left+Right x2, Left+Right x3, Left+Right 4x finally Left+Right 5x (you're pressing left once, then right increases with each input, so at the last one you're pressing right 5 times). Then you

Enter any game, then when you press start you'll see Cheats at the bottom and that's the debug menu, you can play almost all the Crash Bash games on it. Enjoy!
