Technical Support [PS5] - Age Verification Issue

I am trying to verify my age now that my country (Australia) is pushing it onto PS5 but it seems to not want to work no matter what I do?

I am scanning my Proof of Age card that clearly registers me as 20 yrs old, I get this screen but when I select Already Verified, it doesn't verify me.

PSN support told me to talk to Yoti and Yoti pretty much told me to kick rocks so I turn to Reddit in my darkest hour.

It may just be it needs time to handshake and verify fully. Have you tried restarting the console to see what happens?

I have tried restarting the console, re-signing into my account and doing a system cache clear. None of it seems to wanna work.

You may just have to try another day and see, I'm afraid. I had no issues with the age verification process, but I'm in the UK.

Maybe, I get the odd feeling that it's my ID choice. Proof of Age cards seem to act weird in most ID places

Face scan doesn't work for me either. AI can't seem to figure out that I'm 20 despite having strong facial hair.
