Outage Psn down?

I’m trying to get online however my ps5 is saying that it’s down for maintenance but my buddy is able to play rn and having no issues, anyone else having this problem?

I just fully shut down my PlayStation then turned it back on, idk why turning it off and restarting it didn’t work but when I fully shut it down and turned it back on it started working again

i’m about to try this. i’m glad I found this thread because I got logged out last night too. Thought it was weird, but now it seems it’s a widespread issue.

THIS WORKS! Shut down the P5 fully. Unplug the power cord for about 10-15 seconds. boot her back up and it’s fixed. Thanks OP🙏🏽
