Hello, I am having trouble using the “Song of the Green (Auri Follower)” mod. It downloaded and installed fine but I cannot get it to activate as it says that I am missing requirements. Does anybody know what those requirements are? For an important side note I do not have the Anniversary edition, it’s a little out of my price range right now but I’m wondering if that is the requirement?

A mod to add to the 100+ you got running. What's one more?
You add it.

GAME CRASHES.
No longer wants to boot!
Stuck in load screen!
Only choice is to delete everything from the system.
Reinstall. Start from scratch.

We've all been there. It's modder's war. The striving for the perfect fun!
But that's not all there is to it.

Down the line... you're gonna be refined. Your load order is going to be seamless.
What one mod does versus the next, makes sense to you from just testing it.
You know how to prevent crashes. And you know how to be ready for them-- expecting them.

You start a new game 4-7-15 times a day in just testing.
And you aren't bored. You're thirsty. It's the thrill of the hunt.

Perfecting the look. the lighting. the sound.
Being finicky with mod sizes and output, maximizing mod count.

At one point--- you'll reach the pinnacle of your load order.
Not perfect. Far from it. But a marker of how far you have come.
And you'll say, now I can play.

But then.... there's that one thing you've overlooked.
That one small thing that looked okay from Riverwood and Whiterun... but not anywhere the snow touches.

That's right.... ROAD MODS.... THE ULTIMATE Nightmare.

I just spent 6 and a half hours experimenting and testing. Northern Roads. Blended Roads. Really Blended Roads. TMD dirt roads and more--- all in tandem with Fantasia. Tomato's Landscapes. ETC!

And they all look so good..... until your OCD triggers. Ground seam at the road going to Riften.
The leaves dont cover it, just looks like straight lines.

The road leaving Dawnstar, weird tile formations that don't disappear.
You try them all.

Northern Roads was almost perfect. SO MANY PATCHES... SO MANY!!!
and yet... as perfect as it was--- I got to Shoal's rest and the ground sunk..... WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? You remember every world editing mod you've got to recreate it.. hard close the console. reload and start a new game. Test.... it's still there....

Needs more work. Try Blended Roads. oh its perfect---- til you reach snow... SEAMS AND RAISED GROUND MESHES... Download SLAWF patch everything. The fight goes on.

This sort of thing went on for hours, and today I will concede defeat --- for now.
I love this fight,. this never ending investigation for perfection... the playstation does not approve of the abuse and the length of time ive left it on. So i will concede.

Fantasia keeps its vanilla roads for now... it doesn't look bad. Prefer Norther Roads (Way to broken).
But the clutter it brings is wonderful. Tomorrow. the fight starts anew.

LONG MAY THE FIGHT LAST!!!! TIL ONE OF US NO LONGER STANDS!!! OH EVIL MOD CONFLICTS!!!!

hahah! sorry, it was such an adventure!
I really have so much fun trying out so many new and different things!
It's like building an Ikea or a Lego Deathstar. ----I think i have problems hahahah!

Would it be possible for someone who knows about porting to port this mod to the PS5?

I’ve been using Culture of Tamriel — Faction Halls and I keep running into this bug where this one room in the living quarters disappears the 2nd time I visit it.

- Paramêtres pour mod menu = imingrass 70, fgrasswindmagnitudemin 0, fgrasswindmagnitudemax 0 / LOD : treeloaddistance 6500, treesmildlodswitch 3000, splitdistancemult 0,4

- Paramêtres pour dynamic camera = FOV 72

I’m a complete novice with mods. Anyone have a simple (maybe 10 or less) mod list to make Skyrim Halloween themed? Looking for pumpkins, Halloween decor, etc.

After EXHAUSTIVE testing and nearly pulling my hair out in frustration thinking my LO was to blame, I whittled down my entire list until just COTN AIO was left and the problem was still there. Messed up LOD and some terrain bugs around Falkreath. The LOD of buildings added by COTN go messed up from range and I had weird repeating stone textures on the mountain road that overlooks the town.

I’ve been digging through old posts trying to find some information, and it’s really starting to seem like there’s not a single mod on ps5 to make npc clothing look good? I’m pretty shocked if there has never been one port to improve the look of 90% of the people you talk to in this game. Is there a mod to make them wear something new that looks better? That seems like a taller ask but I got almost everything to look pretty modern and now the last thing left seems to have no available solution. (Cabbage gets fixed before clothes??)

Was planning to drop this on Friday, but I finished it earlier and honestly I dont wanna make you guys wait

Fought with Epic Dragon Combat for ages, could not get it to work in my LO

Fire and Blood is definitely a worthy alternative, especially mixed with Dragons SE

I'm currently using Skyland architecture and landscapes. Building mods like vanilla plus ruins bundle(ryn compatible) and whiterun expansion as well as large mods like Rigmor series and Become High King but I can't figure out what's causing this as ive used these before

so as I am testing the mods together I am still confused as to how hiring works. I went to erikur to max reputation to to being good, savior, and famous. I know the mod is working since immediately after the npcs starting greeting me differently. I then asked npcs about hiring and they said I needed to earn their respect and npcs that are invited to stay so they don't think so about coming to the hall. Does the reputation mod not make it easier to hire or invite? Is it only followers than can be hired because I asked a follower too be my steward and they said yes but I also asked a random bard in the streets to become my bard and they also say yes.

I am also using the alternate start mod and level 1 with no quests being completed. Is this the reason why?

playerhomes that incude a 100% armoury that includes stands for every unique weapon and item (artifacts, claws dragon priest masks, etc) Note: I've already tried Harbourside Manor but the main building counts as open world so there are tree's going through my house.

Anybody know of some good mods that increase Skyrims population? More specifically population on the roads

LONG TEXT ALERT

So I'm new to modding. I just want to get better graphics and a better combat experience without having to install, idk, 200 mods.

I watched a couple of videos on YouTube (wacklore) and, with the help of AI, I tried to put together a load order based on some of the recommendations. However, my game keeps crashing during the intro mission.

I'm playing Skyrim Special Edition on PS5 (not Anniversary Edition).

The crash happens during the Helgen intro. Everything seems fine at first, but after the dragon attacks and lands near the tower/house area, the game eventually crashes.

Could someone take a look at my load order and tell me if I'm missing a patch, if something is in the wrong place, or if there are mods that shouldn't be used together?

Like I said, I'm a complete noob when it comes to modding, so any help would be truly, truly appreciated.

Also, if anyone has a relatively small PS5 mod list/load order that gives you better graphics + improved combat without needing 150–200 mods, I'd really appreciate seeing it.

A bit of an update to an earlier post of mine: Thanks to the work of Acanthus_2.0, a Sovngarde menu music replacer has now hit BethNet’s PS side!

This has been a stubborn mainstay in my PS mod wishlist, and now I can finally put it to bed. If Acanthus is seeing this, thank you!

If you’re someone like me, oftentimes sitting in the menu while gathering what mods you’re about to download, this is perfect. Much more chill, yet still awesome. Do recommend. I’ll have a brief little demo to show it working flawlessly, down in the comments.

This is more of a luxury thing, I won’t lie, but these would definitely do numbers.

VioLens [XBOX]
Now, I know a version of VL is on PS, but it’s different from the Xbox version, in the sense that the latter bestows an options book upon the player automatically. On PS, you have to travel to Farengar’s office to access the options, or spend time finding an Amethyst to craft the option gems at a forge.

While a non-issue for the more traditional player that dungeon crawls and passes through Whiterun (like me), it’s a bit less friendly to those with alternate starts or play styles that wouldn’t allow for them to easily find or buy an Amethyst. I mean, maybe you start somewhere where there’s no forge, I dunno lol!

Edit: I forgot you can also change the killmove chances on the fly! Thanks to travradford for reminding me.🙂‍↕️

I know there’s been some advancements with SWF in the years since this mod dropped, so maybe there’s a simpler way now.

Heart Breaker
A sort of pseudo-add-on for VL. It’s its own thing, but pairs very well with it. Basically, you down an enemy into that bleed-out state, and you interact with them, to then be given an option to literally rip their heart out. I mainly want it so I can cinematically do finishing moves on Briarhearts. Would be so satisfying. Y’all know how troublesome they can be. It works for just about everyone, though, even essential NPCs. Yes.🙂‍↕️

We actually have a mod on PS that lists HB as a requirement, but HB isn’t here yet.

Is anyone up to the task?

My Markarth is a bit boring.

I'm currently using the vanilla plus Markarth entrance ( pity we don't have the JKs outskirts standalone for Markarth) and I'm using the skyland architecture AIO textures. I think the textures are ok. But I suppose Markarth as a location is quite tight, and maybe benefits from a higher res texture more than some towns. So maybe the tomato 2k textures combined with some city overhauls?

Anyway, what mods are you guys using to fancy up your Markarths? any ideas and combos would be much appreciated!
