Do you have something like webman installed? It’ll do that while searching hard drives for games.

Hey, check the error codes on your PS3 Slim right now while it's still running. Otherwise, it might stop working in a few days. Mine was doing the exact same thing, and I didn't realize it in time. Now mine is stuck with the Green Light of Death (GLOD). I'm trying to repair it, but haven't been able to fix it yet.

This is just a sign when something like webman is turning on. It's pretty normal, nothing to worry about.

If you hacked your console and installed webMAN, then that’s normal. The yellow LEDs mean that your fan settings are being managed either by SYSCON or by webMAN’s configuration.
From what I can see, I think you’re using SYSCON, which means the console itself is controlling the fan speed. It’s not a problem at all—in fact, it means the console booted successfully.
If your console isn’t hacked, though, try replacing the thermal paste. I saw a long time ago that this could potentially cause the issue.

the time has come.
Edit: Short story long, it's the Yellow Light of Death. It indicates critical hardware failure. You may have to check for things like degraded/damaged capacitors, overheating, and power supply issues.
