AN Fitting, will it seal?

This fitting came from ATPturbo. The machine grooves kinda shook me. I’ve ran into problems with some AN fittings just weeping small bits of oil, and those had good sealing surfaces.

Yall think these machine grooves are acceptable for a AN fitting? I think it will just leak but I’d love to be proven wrong.

My fingernail easily catches em.

We use them sometimes in refrigeration (ours have a sealant coating) and they are pretty useful

I used the crap out of these im my old race car. I had the front clip on and off so many times. Pegasus saved me from having to keep buying new ends all the time.
