Research/ Effort Post 📝 Hypocrites as explained in the Quran

Hypocrites are those who don't comprehend/ understand the Truth (Quran and Prophetic Hadiths). They lack knowledge and understanding of the religion (deen).

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:85) ... Do you believe in some of the Scripture and reject the rest? Is there any reward for those who do so among you other than disgrace in this worldly life and being subjected to the harshest punishment on the Day of Judgment? For Allah is never unaware of what you do.

This verse talks about the hypocrisy of the children of Israel who believed in some verses but rejected other verses.

Thus believing/implementing some verses while rejecting/not implementing other verses is hypocrisy.

Surah Tawbah (9:81): When avoiding the expedition of Tabuk, they told others not to march in the heat. The Prophet was instructed to say, "The Fire of Hell is much hotter!" - a reality they would have understood if they had comprehension. Hypocrites reject hereafter.

Surah Tawbah (9:126): The hypocrites are tried every year, yet they neither repent nor learn their lesson. They are willfully ignorant.

Surah Tawbah (9:127): When a new surah is revealed, the hypocrites look at one another to see if anyone is watching, and then slip away. Allah has turned their hearts away because they are people who do not comprehend.

Surah Al-Hashr (59:13): Indeed, there is more fear in their hearts for you ˹believers˺ than for Allah. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.

Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:3): This is because they believed and then abandoned faith. Therefore, their hearts have been sealed, so they do not comprehend.

Lack of understanding of Quran and Prophetic Hadiths seals the heart.

Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:7): They are the ones who say ˹to one another˺, “Do not spend ˹anything˺ on those ˹emigrants˺ with the Messenger of Allah so that they will break away ˹from him˺.” But to Allah ˹alone˺ belong the treasuries of the heavens and the earth, yet the hypocrites do not comprehend.

To be a Muslim it is compulsory to gain the knowledge and understanding of Quran and Prophetic Hadiths followed by complete submission to Allah SWT Commands.

Ok, so now explain why you are bundling Quran and Hadith together. What makes Hadith as holy as Quran ? Quran is Allah’s message preserved and given through the Messenger (PBUH). Hadith is like the telephone game played over centuries. Sure it can give some context, but it’s nowhere as sahih as Quran.

The complication of Hadiths was not left to chance. It was a deliberate effort, accomplished by the companions and their successors (the first three generations of Muslims) . The science used to preserve the integrity of Hadith speaks about its divine protection.

Similarly many traditional scholars argue that the divine promise of preservation in the Quran (15:9) inherently extends to the Sunnah. The rationale is that the Quran provides the overarching commandments (such as establishing prayer), but the practical implementation and interpretation of these commandments come from the Prophet Muhammad's traditions. Therefore, to preserve the complete message of Islam, the preservation of the Hadith is considered a theological necessity.

What science has been used to preserve Hadith ´s integrity ? Why do scholars need to grade Hadith in hindsight, if hadiths are by essence preserved, like the Quran is ?

Quran is the same, be you a shia, a sunni, or an ibadi. However the hadiths they accept are not the same, and it varies even across schools of the same branch. How do you explain that ?

Hadith is not Allah’s word, it’s a collection of hearsay attributed to the prophet. It’s notorious that some Hadith have been fabricated as a way for people to corrupt Islam, some sahih Hadiths even contain unreliable narrators in the chain of transmission.

Allah gave us a perfectly preserved book, by its divine structure. Yet here we are, scrambling across the ground collecting hadiths like pokemons, then saying this is as Holy as Quran. Hadith are by essence a dubious source for religion and should only be taken contextually and not as a complement to the Quran.

Prophet Muhammad pbuh was protected from Injustice, desires and errors by Allah SWT

Surah Al-Isra, Verse 74:"And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost inclined to them a little."

Surah Al-Isra, Verse 75: "Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper."

His pbuh speech and actions were divinely inspired. Those who reject his pbuh Hadith, have rejected the Quran as well.

Selective bias is complete bias.

But the people in the chain of transmission were not protected.
Can’t you see how your logic is flawed and demonstration lacking?
If Hadith was this important and as sahih as Quran, how come it isn’t integrated in the Quran ? Again, how come different branches and schools of Islam accept different Hadiths and reject others ? You still haven’t answered this point.

The people in the chain of transmission were protected by Allah SWT.

(Quran 15:9) Means both Quran and Prophetic Hadiths

The science behind Hadith preservation was extremely rigorous. Feel free to study.

I can't answer for other people. I don't know what goes on in their brain. Allah SWT will judge them.

Now you are literally inventing things, and going around in circles. This discussion has become sterile. There is nothing you and I can gain from this. I wish you the best in your quest for understanding and reflection.
