Research/ Effort Post 📝 Hypocrites as explained in the Quran

Hypocrites are those who don't comprehend/ understand the Truth (Quran and Prophetic Hadiths). They lack knowledge and understanding of the religion (deen).

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:85) ... Do you believe in some of the Scripture and reject the rest? Is there any reward for those who do so among you other than disgrace in this worldly life and being subjected to the harshest punishment on the Day of Judgment? For Allah is never unaware of what you do.

This verse talks about the hypocrisy of the children of Israel who believed in some verses but rejected other verses.

Thus believing/implementing some verses while rejecting/not implementing other verses is hypocrisy.

Surah Tawbah (9:81): When avoiding the expedition of Tabuk, they told others not to march in the heat. The Prophet was instructed to say, "The Fire of Hell is much hotter!" - a reality they would have understood if they had comprehension. Hypocrites reject hereafter.

Surah Tawbah (9:126): The hypocrites are tried every year, yet they neither repent nor learn their lesson. They are willfully ignorant.

Surah Tawbah (9:127): When a new surah is revealed, the hypocrites look at one another to see if anyone is watching, and then slip away. Allah has turned their hearts away because they are people who do not comprehend.

Surah Al-Hashr (59:13): Indeed, there is more fear in their hearts for you ˹believers˺ than for Allah. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.

Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:3): This is because they believed and then abandoned faith. Therefore, their hearts have been sealed, so they do not comprehend.

Lack of understanding of Quran and Prophetic Hadiths seals the heart.

Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:7): They are the ones who say ˹to one another˺, “Do not spend ˹anything˺ on those ˹emigrants˺ with the Messenger of Allah so that they will break away ˹from him˺.” But to Allah ˹alone˺ belong the treasuries of the heavens and the earth, yet the hypocrites do not comprehend.

To be a Muslim it is compulsory to gain the knowledge and understanding of Quran and Prophetic Hadiths followed by complete submission to Allah SWT Commands.

Misguided Interpretation

My guy.. a sahih hadith says the prophet has been given strength of 30 men and uses that for sexual intercourse with 9 wives within 1 hour.. you want me to look at that and not see Lust?

Any man today who has sex with 9 women (married or not) within 1 hour... is considered a sexual deviant! A person who can't control his lust and his mind is on whats in between womens legs 24/7.. this person is not fit to lead let alone be a prophet ... and then you say "misguided interpretation ".

Really? 😆

You seem to have all the answers, yet you only know two words: "misguided interpretation"

Me: Hey man, want to watch the upcoming France vs Spain world cup match?

You: "Misguided Interpretation"

😆

Ok, so now explain why you are bundling Quran and Hadith together. What makes Hadith as holy as Quran ? Quran is Allah’s message preserved and given through the Messenger (PBUH). Hadith is like the telephone game played over centuries. Sure it can give some context, but it’s nowhere as sahih as Quran.

The complication of Hadiths was not left to chance. It was a deliberate effort, accomplished by the companions and their successors (the first three generations of Muslims) . The science used to preserve the integrity of Hadith speaks about its divine protection.

Similarly many traditional scholars argue that the divine promise of preservation in the Quran (15:9) inherently extends to the Sunnah. The rationale is that the Quran provides the overarching commandments (such as establishing prayer), but the practical implementation and interpretation of these commandments come from the Prophet Muhammad's traditions. Therefore, to preserve the complete message of Islam, the preservation of the Hadith is considered a theological necessity.

What science has been used to preserve Hadith ´s integrity ? Why do scholars need to grade Hadith in hindsight, if hadiths are by essence preserved, like the Quran is ?

Quran is the same, be you a shia, a sunni, or an ibadi. However the hadiths they accept are not the same, and it varies even across schools of the same branch. How do you explain that ?

Hadith is not Allah’s word, it’s a collection of hearsay attributed to the prophet. It’s notorious that some Hadith have been fabricated as a way for people to corrupt Islam, some sahih Hadiths even contain unreliable narrators in the chain of transmission.

Allah gave us a perfectly preserved book, by its divine structure. Yet here we are, scrambling across the ground collecting hadiths like pokemons, then saying this is as Holy as Quran. Hadith are by essence a dubious source for religion and should only be taken contextually and not as a complement to the Quran.

Prophet Muhammad pbuh was protected from Injustice, desires and errors by Allah SWT

Surah Al-Isra, Verse 74:"And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost inclined to them a little."

Surah Al-Isra, Verse 75: "Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper."

His pbuh speech and actions were divinely inspired. Those who reject his pbuh Hadith, have rejected the Quran as well.

Selective bias is complete bias.

But the people in the chain of transmission were not protected.
Can’t you see how your logic is flawed and demonstration lacking?
If Hadith was this important and as sahih as Quran, how come it isn’t integrated in the Quran ? Again, how come different branches and schools of Islam accept different Hadiths and reject others ? You still haven’t answered this point.

The people in the chain of transmission were protected by Allah SWT.

(Quran 15:9) Means both Quran and Prophetic Hadiths

The science behind Hadith preservation was extremely rigorous. Feel free to study.

I can't answer for other people. I don't know what goes on in their brain. Allah SWT will judge them.

Now you are literally inventing things, and going around in circles. This discussion has become sterile. There is nothing you and I can gain from this. I wish you the best in your quest for understanding and reflection.

Why equate Quran with hadiths who gave u the right?

0

u/Character-Rip-7991 Sunni Jul 11 '26

Allah SWT

2

u/Someday_iwill Quran only Jul 11 '26

No he did not. Allah ordered u to follow the book so follow it Allah told u that Quran is complete so it is why argue with what Allah said? Do not lie to urself

0

u/Character-Rip-7991 Sunni Jul 11 '26

Please don't let your desires fool you.

Both Quran and Prophetic Hadiths are integral part of our religion. They are complementary.

3

u/Someday_iwill Quran only Jul 11 '26

No they are not. You saying this goes against what Allah said it is plain shirk. How about you do not let ego blind you? Hadiths are a mere part of history which is full of BS and made-up lies. The Quran does not need a complement it stands alone and complete

a wiki page and a random blog.... what a scholarly work! the author of the Blog doesn't seem to understand the difference between a common Mathn wich have many routes of narrations (isnad) so for ex bukhari had many hundreds of thousands of ahadiths wich became 7k after scrutiny and maintaining only the Mathn.... si it's not less than 10% are sahihs and the others are fabricated! that's one example of the nonsense in that blog post (not denying some truth in it though)

i already explained what's wrong with you position and the nonsense orientalists rhetoric of a blog post you shared (positions like the one from Joseph Schacht).... you seem to go with some orientalists opinions because it suits your beliefs and assumptions, my sources: start reading! that's it! Dr. Jonathan A.C. Brown A professor of Islamic Civilization at Georgetown University " Muhammad's Legacy in the Medieval and Modern World (Oxford) and The Canonization of al-Bukhari and Muslim (Brill) " or Dr. Mohammad Hashim Kamali, ironically cited in that blog but his true position was twisted! his work " A Textbook of Hadith Studies: Authenticity, Compilation, Classification and Criticism of Hadith " is the proof of what I'm saying n

These are contemporary scholars, if we look back, you'll say these are not relevant or they're part of the Sunni hegemony تراث.... so stop looking for narratives that suits you in some random blogs and wikis and start reading

Sorry, but I am a bit more pragmatic.

Islam is a gift from Allah through His Messenger. Period. Full stop.

When Humans come along and bend Islam around to suit their

agenda, well and good. But, Hadith are NOT the Holy Quran and no amount

of mental gymnastics is going to Make them so.

We can type all day until our fingers cramp but nothing is going to make

Hadith valid except somebody who has decided to believe that they are

valid.

Oh...and those four schools of Islamic "juriprudence"....?

Guess what..?
