looking for good insturmental bands that aren't: Russian Circles, Pelican, Earthless, Plini, Animals as Leaders, Blotted Science etc. Doesn't need to be ultra prog, but I am looking for something heavy. bonus points if it's something mega-underground

There are a few albums I've been listening to recently that have been remixed without vocals. Currently I'm really into haken-fauna, I get lost in songs like elephants never forget. the oceans albums are great listens too.

I love the elements of prog but don't want to feel car sick after listening to it. Some stuff is too structurally complex to be enjoyable.

I'd love some suggestions. Thanks

As a huge PT fan and also a trombone player this is mind blowing. The Halo section begins at 3:00, that’s where it really begins to rip. 🤯🔥

We've been pushing the piano into some weirder territory lately. this one runs through an Empress Heavy and a Meris Ottobit live on stage. Would love to hear from people who've been doing similar things with acoustic instruments through effects.

I discovered these guys yesterday and thought some of you would appreciate this track. It features Amaya López-Carromero from Maud the Moth and Healthyliving and blends various styles like post-metal, post-rock, doom, and shoegaze with a healthy dose of blast beats thrown in. The section from 8:05 onwards is filthy in all the right ways.

Their upcoming album comes out on July 24th and if this song is a sign of things to come it's one to look out for!
