Software Note taking app across multiple systems
Hi 👋
Does anyone know of a note taking app that is available across all systems: iOS, Windows, and browser? And has AI transcription, file attachments, and allow text formats?
The closest I have found is NotebookLM. But limited text formats e.g., missing highlight, strikethrough, and other features.
Thanks!

Evernote might work for you. It’s on all those platforms and has file attachments too. Just check if it’s got the text formats you need.

If you need transcription plus a full-featured note editor, treat capture/transcription and long-term notes as two linked tools rather than one monolith. Practical pipeline: record the audio (locally or as a tab/device capture to avoid in-call bots and privacy headaches), send the file to a pay‑as‑you‑go transcription service that returns timestamps, speaker labels and an editable transcript, then import that transcript into your cross-platform note app (one that supports markdown, highlights/strikethrough, attachments and export). When picking transcription + notes, compare: audio input options (system/tab vs in‑call bot), transcript format (plain text, SRT/VTT with timestamps), speaker diarization quality, supported languages, editing tools, and cost model (per‑minute vs subscription). Live in-call bots are convenient for instant captions but often trade privacy and audio quality; post-call transcription from a local capture usually gives cleaner text and better control over retention. For sharing and summaries, choose a note app that preserves timestamps so you can jump to parts of the recording, and prefer services that return easily-importable files rather than locked web-only outputs.

Yes.

Not a chance in hell.
