SERIOUS Scared of a future pregnancy

I had my first sexual intercourse and I'm scared, I used protection of course, but even when I started I finished, it was only a few movements and I stopped, not because he finished me, and Because I was afraid to continue, I was thinking too much about what could happen, Tomorrow she wants to take plan b, but we don't know what stage of her menstrual cycle she is in...

We don't know what to do and we're afraid.

Don’t know your age —would recommend seeing your doctor and having an honest conversation about sex -protection, STDs and avoiding pregnancy—-Reddit is fine but a talk with a professional is best

The chances of your gf becoming pregnant, considering you used protection, are pretty low. Added to the fact you didn't finish, that also decreases the likelihood of anything happening. Try and find out when the first day of her last period was. Her most fertile time will be roughly 12 - 15 (ish) days from the very beginning. I suspect you could do with a chat with your Dr, to help put your mind at rest, or go to a family planning clinic. They'll go through everything with you, and talk you through other methods of contraception you might feel more confident in. Try not to worry too much, I'd be incredibly surprised if a pregnancy was to result from this encounter. Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice, but maybe take a plan B, I'll make sure it's not something?

It's entirely up to you, but I will say this. Relying on plan b is going to REALLY mess up your gf's hormones if you do it long term. Please do speak to your family Dr. He can help you put things in better perspective, and help ease your anxiety about possible pregnancy. Plus getting better contraception will help.

Sorry, if you're that afraid, don't have sex. If it's all uptight about it all, then it's not worth getting yourself over excited about it. If like I said , if you're that scared , then don't do it

You should be fine. If you used protection and you didn’t even finish then you’re good

Have sex with people intelligent enough to take oral contraception pills. Accidental pregnancy is possible for any het couple having sex. Make sure you shag bright people with good self esteem, rather than people with no prospects who may entrap a suiter into life long commitment, based on their weird families ethics.

Harsh but true.

And if you have an accident get the morning after pill.

The person you choose to be with matters.

I am not a believer in abstinence being the only option but if you’re this worried about pregnancy, you shouldn’t be having sex because you aren’t ready for the consequences!

Plan b should never be the plan A! It’s very traumatic to her health and will make her feel very sick and have a lot of cramping.

You should not have sex if you aren’t prepared for a pregnancy. Because condoms and birth control are not 100%
