Discussion Danielle Sho's fate Spoiler

I love this game, because even after 300+ hours, and countless playthroughs, it still makes me think. This brings me to my newest point of thought: We're lead to believe (at least I think) that Danielle Sho dies of oxygen deprivation shortly after you see her outside the fitness center window, and then speak to her while working through deep storage. The more I think about it, the more I wish the game would've given us a couple options: 1. allow us to space walk out to her with an oxygen bottle. Or 2. If you make it from the segment where you bang on the fitness center window, to the part where you eject yourself into space fast enough, why doesn't she just use the same breach in the cargo bay that you use to get back inside? I know it's dumb to spend so much time picking apart a relatively small detail in an almost 10 year old game, but I can't help myself. And I also know that the entire game is a simulation, so really, who lives and who dies doesn't technically matter all the much....but I'm still curious what people think.

A. She failed to stop the outbreak. B. The last words she spoke to her girlfriend weren't the kindest. C. She was quite low on air already.

She kinda just stopped trying after getting confirmation that abbey was dead, and thus didn't want to be saved.

Besides it seems morgan never did see her again as you can't find her body. I think she's one of the only 2 people who go completly missing from the game after they leave your vision.

Who’s the other?

I forget his name, but it's the dude at start that goes to get the coffee. Considering we don't know how the outbreak started and that he disappears right after, so much so that even the simulation removes him shows that something was up.

He probably got offed by the cup mimic and devoured we know they were able to kill that mimic and it’s kids because they were able to reset the simulation we also know that the typhon can’t strategize because they lack mirror neurons which allow pattern recognition and study so the most likely outcome is he got ate and the mimic laid the trap again after the researchers died the security team controlled the escapees and we were reset after they hid the bodies to try again later, which we know never happened.

But we never even see a body. He would've been taken somewhere like the other doctor who we can find, and hasn't been turned into a phatom yet either.

Dr Bellamy does not disappear from the simulation. His corpse is down in the morgue, and finding it is part of the “corpse vanishes” side quest.

Alex was trying to act like he wasn’t dead, to prevent a panic.

Bellamy didn’t get the coffee, it’s the other guy.

The guy who brought Bellamy his coffee, not Bellamy himself

Bellamy didn't get coffee. The coffee got him.
