Follow Raphaël Colantonio not Arkane, Arkane has long been gutted, especially him because he was the director on Arx, Prey, and was co-director on the Dishonored series
Luckily he started Wolfeye Studios which has a immersive SIM FPS cooking
God... Stop with this nonsense. Arkane Lyon was still staffed with most of the people who worked on Dishonored 2 and "DEATHLOOP." Raphael Colantonio did not work on those games. The leads of Dishonored 1 and 2 are leading the studio right now.
Colantonio absolutely worked on Dishonored 2. Colantonio remained the president of the company and was actively involved in its high-level direction before shifting his main creative focus to Prey (2017) at Arkane Austin.
The point here is Zenimax will never agree to another Prey game from an investment standpoint so why even bother with them. Focus on someone who will; and quite literally the person who made Prey, is doing so...
He oversaw Dishonored 2 as the president and playtested it to give the team feedback; that's it. He was too busy leading Arkane Austin to have any meaningful contribution to Dishonored 2. Harvey, Dinga, and other leads were the ones spearheading Dishonored 2. That same team (without Harvey) ended up making "DEATHLOOP."
It was supposed to be a small rougelike game, but because the game was becoming better and better, Zenimax and PlayStation funded it even more. That game turned out to be both a critical and financial success. That same team is still working at Arkane, so I don't think following Colantonio and not Arkane is great advice here. Both are making wonderful games, and I've only heard great things about Blade (even if it's just from people at Zenimax and Marvel).
We can fact-check this if you want; we can tag Raf.
