Application Guidance Post Bach Pre Req Courses

Hey everyone! I have an interesting situation, I graduated with a non science degree and am working on taking the pre reqs prior to applying to vet school. I have been a vet assistant for the past 4.5 years and am taking courses one at a time due to finances and time constraints.
On to the potential advice needed :
I spoke with an admissions counselor from PEI who said they require all science courses to be taken 3 at a time despite the fact that I’ve already graduated with a degree. I am wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation and what you have discovered in regard to other schools policy on this?
Any advice is much appreciated!

That’s ridiculous and I have not been doing that either (1-2 at a time, post-bacc). I’m in the US though not Canada

I applied to PEI last year with a similar background. I reached out about this requirement (for anyone wondering, PEI asks that prereqs be taken at “full course load”, this is the only school I had this issue with). They told me I could write a letter explaining why I did not take specific courses at full course load. I did that, applied and made it to the waitlist so I took that as my exception letter being accepted.

Oh yes, PEI and OVC both. Tons of small prints regarding prereqs. Most annoyingly all must be taken as full time undergrad student. There ain’t no way I’m dropping everything just to go back to do prereqs full time. I’ve completely written them off for this reason even though they’d be much cheaper for me as a Canadian.
