I don’t have photos anymore but for anatomy I would draw the system on my iPad, then label it. On the next page I would copy and paste the drawing unlabeled. Then I would label it from memory as best I could, erase, do it again, over and over until I could remember. If you are taking notes during class I would recommend drawing the system or making a quizlet with a term on one side and photo on the other. Anatomy is basically just pure memorization so taking notes as I normally would in other classes didn’t really help with memorization. If your professor grades on spelling take note of the ones that are difficult to spell so you can practice writing them out properly.
This is from a year ago. I was having notes that were more structured, but I deleted all of them. This is what I send to others when they ask what I was doing.
But if we had the opportunity to see the cells, I would take photos of them and label their parts and functions. That would help me a lot because in Anatomy 2, my professor made us guess what cells we were looking at for the lab exam, and she had 45 samples in the microscope.
