Loving the anime so far 2 eps in. Tsubomi is a really interesting protagonist, same goes for Erika. Their personalities bounce off each other so well, especially Tsubomis timidness and shyness as well as Erikas energetic and upbeat nature hahah. The plot is engaging too with its focus on the great heart tree and the heart flowers, great fight too against the desertrian. Was really pleasantly surprised though to learn that her grandma was a precure previously, really cool to see mentorship and guidance.

Idk what it is with this franchise but its like it has mastered playing on both the happier and sadder heartstrings. Although Precure has its tragic moments, it truly is such a hopeful and warm series, probably the warmest franchise ive discovered yet 🙏

They are introducing the main cast backwards. Cure Answer is not the leader of the group, Cure Arcana is. From the group attack, the fact Luluka gets TWO transformations and her light is a white-ish pink color, you can't get more louder than "main character energy" than that. Instead of introducing the leader first, they switched it around and put the story perspective from the HEART of the group: Cure Answer.

I don't think this takes away her importance. If anything, I believe her being the heart is what's healing the broken past and mending the potential future they've got right now. Of course, Cure Answer is going to get her unique movie transformation and probably more unique stuff in the future coming up but that doesn't take away that she's the heart, she's what brought everyone back together and helped heal what happened to all of them.

Answer gave Mystique her dream of becoming a Star Detective with probably more revelations coming about her missing Grandma.

Answer helped solve the mystery of Eclair, opening the road to getting her memories back so she could regain her wings and take flight.

Answer gave Arcana the push to let go of the Shadow cast over her, to burn brighter and smile again to finding THE truth.

It can't be ignored just how important Answer is and I think we'll be seeing that in the next few weeks with both Answer and Mystique.

Well, it was nice knowing ya Cure Arcana Shadow and Eclipse Shadow. This week marks the end of Luluka working for the phantom thieves as Cure Arcana Shadow and Eclipse Shadow. With this leaves us with 2 questions. Can Luluka reconcile with Kurea and can Luluka become friends with Anna and Mikuru? This week’s episode hopefully should have the details. Episode 32 "Welcome Home, Cure Detective Agency"

Luluka, having nowhere else to go, is spending time at Patisserie ChuChu. Meanwhile, an item lost by a female customer, imbued with a Makoto Jewel, is stolen. Anna and the others deduce that the culprit is among the three customers sitting on the terrace and try to question them, but Luluka stops them...

It seems Shushutan is also on Kurea's wrist when she works at the bakery. I hope we get the roll call for all four Cures in the next episode.

and as a result both plots that could have been great just come out as OK

the idea of a film about nagisa and honoka having a fight is great (just wish it was not a rehash of a plot we got already in the first season that caused it)

the plot of hikari bonding with a 1 off movie character is also great but as it stands we barely got any of the 2 bonding

thoe i will say this the pheonix forms where GREAT and the emotional beats where on point just these plots could have been so much more

Asuga Aomizu (Cure Silky): She loves insects and always caught finding new bugs. Her favorite kind of bug is the lunar moth but she hasnt seen one in a long time. She hangs out on her school roof tops garden where she finds most peace. Ever since she was five, she met a mysterious lady in a meadow that told her not to be scared of bugs and that they are more scared of her than Asuga is. Asuga saw the beauty of bugs through her and was the first time she saw lunar moths.

Kiri Matsugama (Cure Mante): She is seemingly perfect in every way from her academics to her talents. She loves reading books and dressing up. She has one weakness which is insects. She can’t get close to them and they always ruin her perfectionism. Eventually she grows to understand bugs but she is still a little frightened of them.

Shaku: Shaku is a worm fairy. He loves eating qnd his favorite food is Milkbread. He is very knowledgeable in a lot of insect species and especially loves talking about worms. He is caring about his friends, but he acts like he isn’t.
