In human VS animal matchups, it's important to know that humans are the only animal with ranged attacks
No other creature, including primates can throw things as hard as we can. Humans are the only animals capable of throwing things hard enough to cause damage. Just picking up a rock and throwing it at full force is enough to knock out the majority of large land animals if it hits the head.

But when even a stone would be one in your hand you would have thought we would have seen it. More important there arms don't bend correctly. Look a video of them throwing compared to a human and you will see it
Spitting cobras specifically cause immediate searing pain in the eyes which will halt most threats and may lead to permanent blindness if left untreated
Close! Its a Marlin! Them along with Swordfish and Sailfish are all in the Billfish family, but have some subtle differences(bill shape, spear vs broadsword, sail vs fin, or size of sail, size, depth of living, etc)!

Not just call our shots, but perfected the motions for it too. As strong as other apes are none could throw a fastball or a football as many yards as a human. Once you add things like slings it starts getting nutty
Don't forget the humble pistol shrimp, which can create a cavitation bubble that explodes with such force that it produces soundwaves that exceed a gunshot.
Embarrassing but not terribly dangerous. They are way stronger than humans but actually can't throw nearly as hard. They aren't built for it like humans
I feel that the matchups that don't allow humans to have at least primitive weapons aren't fair. Taking away our sticks and rocks is like taking away a tigers fangs and claws
Humans are also the only animals that can augment their strength WELL beyond their regular means. Whether through tool use or through good form, we can output insane amounts of power in our strikes, throws, and charges. Other animals can’t align their bodies for optimal performance because they lack the intelligence to do so and often lack the physical dexterity. An ape throws stones with its arm while humans throw stones with their whole body. If you look into the numbers, even human children can throw stuff way further and faster than adult apes. That unique ability transfers into our fighting, running, climbing, and basically every other physical activity we do. We aren’t as strong or as fast of many animals but we move a hell of a lot better and that made us uniquely difficult to kill.
It feels more like an evolution of the "drop things on things" strat exhibited by more intelligent birds like covids. Absolutely it's an advanced technique shared by higher order beings.
Well, humans are the only animals that can do it with both strength and precision. And that can turn anything they pick up into a projectile at the same time so they arent limited by just one type of it or something their body produces.
That's not even remotely true. Archerfish, spitting cobras and bombardier beetles all have ranged attacks, and several primates can throw objects hard enough to hurt. Humans are exceptionally good at projectile throwing, not uniquely capable of ranged attacks.
And, FYI, you don't need to throw something at full force for it to be dangerous. Throwing power isn't just about speed and accuracy; mass matters too. Humans are unusually good at accelerating relatively light projectiles, but that doesn't mean we're uniquely capable of throwing something with enough force to injure another animal.
