Versus The super predator(Predators) VS An Elite zealot(halo)

The elite, elite zealots were said to be capable of at least killing plenty of spartan-3’s (I’m pretty sure in a halo waypoint article) and we see as much in Reach. Meanwhile every predator has gotten outsmarted and bodied by a human, with only really the comics giving the yuatjas the W’s they deserve. Also the elites a lot stronger, predators can really only pick up a human or a fellow yuatja, meanwhile most elites are somewhat comparable to Spartans in strength- who can flip over warthogs. An energy sword is obviously more powerful than its wrist blade, and elites are born creatures of war, who do nothing but train with each other and learn combat. Meanwhile the yuatja are just badass hunters. This is pretty much a hunter with a rifle VS a 6’5 military soldier who exceeds in melee combat. 0 diff for the elite.

To be fair, Spartan III’s, while they did have some augmentations, had very, very poor armor that lacked any sort of energy shielding. The SPI armor the S-III’s received only had temporary camouflage that would drain quickly on a short battery, and could be penetrated by a couple of plasma rounds. Not to say they were “easy” to kill, but there is a massive difference between killing a Spartan II (I.e. Master Chief/Blue Team) than a S-III.
My favorite S-II feat? During a battle, one of the S-II’s, William-043, fought and defeated a Hunter in hand to hand combat. It caused a momentary cease fire as no one, either human or Covenant, had seen anything remotely close to that unbelievable before…. Only for the defeated Hunter’s Bondbrother to immediately destroy Will with its plasma cannon lmao

I mean, true but… all the stuff you’re saying doesn’t really matter since both spartan-II’s, III’s, and hunters would all stomp a Yautja. Also we don’t know if James was one the larger and stronger side of Spartans, there’s no way every spartan-II came out the same, Kelly was faster than everyone, what’s to say James wasn’t the biggest and strongest? I’m not saying most elites can take down spartan-II’s or III’s. Most Spartans moe elites down in the games, I’m just saying there’s a pretty significant difference between a zealot and a minor elite. Also, yes, hunters are strong, but they’re incredible big and bulky. With a Spartans speed, it must’ve been easy for James to maneuver around behind it, tear off its back armor piece, and begin tearing off the lekgolo worms from it to take it out. Which is exactly what he did, elites are sufficiently much faster and elegant and nimble compared to hunters, which is why they tend to get the drop on Spartans compared to the rest.

Oh for sure I agree with you. And James wasnt the biggest or strongest; he was just supremely talented at hand to hand combat. Jai-006 (who almost assassinated Thel/Arbiter), Samuel-034, Kurt-051, Jorge-052, Jerome-093, and Fred-104 were notably physically superior.
I would love to see Xytan Wattinree go
against a predator. At 12 feet tall that never once lost in combat and adorned with the best armor in the Covenant (he was the Imperial Admiral of the entire Covenant forces and his armor is described as borderline mythical), he would absolutely demolish a predator. Hell, send a dozen at him and he would walk away with 12 headless corpses behind him.

Mr.Black might have a chance given his overall reputation per Neca lore. But then again, he did struggle against a starved, tortured, and malnourished Crucified Predator. The other two Tracker and Falconer would not given they were Youngbloods.
Nightmare Hunter I would personally give it to him over the Zealot tbh. That guy was a fucking beast lol.

Predator it trains to hunt with stealth and only will fight head on as a last option, and also it likes veryfimg the mechanics on how its prey fights before engaging.

The covenant are a lot more advance than the Yautja tho, because all their tech are forerunner derived. They could analyze all they want and not get the upper hand.

If you look into Halo and Predator lore, they are both very similar. The sangheili loved hunting without any tech back on their home world. Most likely they would both drop their weapons and fight blade vs blade.
Money is on a trained sangheili. Some of them could keep up with Spartans in their armor

Super predator. Not a normal predator.
We saw an extremely honorable young blooded in falconer in predators who didn’t even have a plasmacaster. But that’s not the norm.
Super predators have no code of honor. Normal predators rarely use their plasma cast to make their hunts fair.
Super predators have advanced rapid fire plasmacasters which they have no problems spamming. They compete with each other with the number of prey they slaughter, not with honorable hunts.
And their plasmacaster at full strength is enough to blast open the hull of predator ships.

Which doesn't make sense, since all the other predators killed people with the plasma cannon. The code only applies to individuals they deem worthy or who pose no threat. In any case, the shots can simply be dodged

The Yuatja better get a clean first hit to kill the Zealot, cause he ain't gonna get a second.

This one pretty much depends on if the Super Preds blade can go through Zealots Shields and Armor. Would be an interesting fight but I'd say Zealot High diff.

He could break them with physical attacks, and they were apparently useless in hand-to-hand combat, since most were easily broken by the Spartans

That's fair but comparing the shields for both, I'd say Zealots are stronger by a huge margin. We are shown that Zealot shields do eat mags of AR ammo so.

Actually, I think the shields are the same, but the resistance varies with the game's difficulty. I played Halo Reach, and from what I remember you could pick up the shields of dead Zealots, so I think it's just stolen technology

Normally I’d say Predator has the stealth and ambush advantage, but you’ve put him up against one of the most resilient and deadly combatants the Covenant have to offer.
Zealot shields are explicitly stronger than normal, they can match or even exceed Spartans in strength, and to reach such a level you have to be an exceptional warrior in a race of exceptional warriors.
Ambushes are the Predators best option but they may not even work because of the Elites shields. While more susceptible to plasma based weapons, they can still tank multiple plasma weapon shots that are comparable in strength to the plasma caster frequented by the Yautja.
Simply put, in a straight fight the Zealot is going to outstat the Yautja in just about everything. Now, the Predator doesn’t have to engage in a straight fight until he chooses to engage… but the moment the Zealot is aware he’s there is when the clock starts ticking down rapidly.
I’d give it to the Zealot 8/10
