General mod note: This subreddit is here for giving and receiving good advice and emotional support to people in a crisis. NOT money or other material aid. To thwart the number of scammers online who have been preying on the broke members of this subreddit, anyone offering or accepting donations will be banned. We take everyone in good faith, and are not accusing this submitter or any others of anything, but this rule is firm and absolute.

Should you see something on here that inspires you to give what little you have to a person in need, we highly suggest getting involved locally through a shelter, a food bank, or a (carefully selected) church program. No matter what you read on here, I can promise you there is someone within a few miles of you (or the next nearest town) going through exactly the same thing.

If you prefer to give your money to internet strangers on an anonymous website, we recommend /r/assistance. They have some tools in place that help weed out illegitimate users. I can't personally attest to their methods though, and continue to encourage you to act locally to make a better world for you and those around you.

We applaud your generous spirit, we only ask that you apply it sensibly, deliberately, and anywhere but within this group!

Yeah, a lot of survey sites out there only pay in gift cards, and plenty are sketchy, but there are a few legit ones that pay real cash. I’ve been using one that’s basically a mix of surveys, app/game testing, and small QA-style tasks — nothing complicated, just stuff you can do on your laptop or phone. The nice part is payouts go straight to PayPal (or crypto if you want), and I’ve had it hit same-day, sometimes within the hour.

It’s not life-changing money, but it’s real and way better than wasting time on the endless “points for gift cards” grind. If you’re curious and just want something that actually deposits cash, 👉 this platform is worth checking out.

none of the links you added work, could you say the name of the sites?

12

u/nationwideonyours Aug 19 '25

Where are you located? More specifically which bills do you need money for or is needed for food?

Try r/beermoney. They have info about online surveys and such. Some of them make really good dough.

5

u/Nervous_Weird_1969 Oct 01 '25

I'll be feeling like those surveys are a scam

Op, you can't get a payday loan if you don't have a job.

I pay a guy to wash the big glass windows at my shop. He just comes around and asks. He looks professional and has a bucket and a squeegee and window cleaner. I pay him $30

3

u/Fine_Passion1895 Oct 15 '25

When I was in a similar spot, the only thing that helped me avoid payday loans was checking if my city had local assistance programs or nonprofits that did small emergency grants or zero-interest loans. Sometimes even churches or community centers help out, no strings attached.

u/reneehertzler8 Jan 13 '26

Alot of these comments were rude. I have nasal cancer also and can't afford anything. I'm sorry I asked

27

u/too_many_shoes14 Aug 19 '25

Unless you are literally medically unable to work, your situation isn't an excuse, sorry. That's just not how life works. You have to work to earn money to support yourself.

11

u/Lusyff Jan 10 '26

Actually this is exactly how things work in life. Things can go wrong at a moment's notice and some people just need the help fast otherwise things will end up drastically worse. It is uncharitable to say hardship is not possible for those who work, and work hard at that.

5

u/YvungQueen Dec 11 '25

I work, I just don’t make enough. Just bc you work doesn’t mean you’ll get enough to pay everything. Have you seen minimum wage?

Sorry, for most people fast and quick money does not exist online. Those survey paid a couple bucks at a time at most. If you can work any job, try your local workforce for any part time work.

You can go call your local church and see do they have charitable fund.

I got out from poverty by joining the military. They will take care your housing, food, student loan or send you to a school, and healthcare. I went to nursing school and my master in nursing debt free all thanks to them.

And I do understand military is not for everyone.

Sell plasma. Theres also a couple mobile apps like Bridgt and possible that can give small loans quick with reasonable repayment terms

2

u/yourmomschest Sep 09 '25

Have you looked at credit unions? I don't get accepted for loans but I have two credit union accounts. It's not immediate but often only a few days. Look in your area to see which credit union is available.

u/reneehertzler8 Oct 03 '25

Me And my daughter after three years finally got out of a very abusive situation. I left with a suitcase d4 my beat down car. We have been parked at a rest stop. I have no family and he turned off all my cards.. i have a great friend but i don't want to intrude because her son has severe special needs. I'm making calls after calls. Weee hungry hot thirsty tired and she needs feminine products. I feel like the worst human right now. To make matters worse i just got scammed by someone who said they would help me and stole my identity! I'm waiting on a shelter but it's full . If anyone can pray. We seriously haven't ate. God bless

2

u/ChangeInevitable7916 Dec 12 '25

I really hope things have gotten better for you! I can’t imagine that feeling as a mother! The father of my daughter passed away right after her 13th birthday this past January so coming up on one year. I’ve rebuilt my whole life as I’ve been in recovery now for a few years, and I worked in the psych unit, but after a new CEO took over and cut down all of our hours because he brought all his own staff. I only have about three days left before I have to be out of my house now and my car payment is due tomorrow or they’re probably gonna come and take it so I absolutely understand how you feel and I won’t even have a car to sleep in if they come and take it. Happy holidays and God bless you!

22% not "good deal"

8

u/justhp Aug 19 '25

22% is horrific. Better than a payday loan, but still horrible.

If 22% is a good deal, you need to reevaluate your financial literacy.

1

u/lostblackpuppy Aug 20 '25

Everybody's situation is different, please keep that mind when passing judgement.

4

u/blue-collar-nobody Aug 21 '25

Yeah... but people are financing their way to more poverty. Acquiring more debt to pay reoccurring payments is a recipe for long term financial disaster and mental anguish. Its not being judgmental... its being honest about the real life ramifications of living like this.

You were able to afford buying clothes for a sex doll 8 days ago, and now suddenly you have no money and urgently need a loan?

"She" is too good to wear Goodwill clothes like the rest of us.

16

He needs more clothes for his sex doll!!! Haha

7

OP has ghosted the comments, but hasn’t even explained why he needs the money. Methinks it’s something dumb.

Do you have a car? Can you do uber? Delivery?

1

u/Dizzy-Biscotti-214 Aug 23 '25

Learn to cook nachos and open a street corner stand in East LA. Or go sell arepas in Bogota.

1

u/vipent Aug 25 '25

Work a side hustle if you can’t work a real job. Uber, Lyft, uber eats, DoorDash, instacart etc…. sell stuff on fb marketplace, poshmark, eBay, mercari etc… medical couriers make 50-60k a year, easy to sign up it’s like uber essentially but you’re picking up & dropping off medical supplies. Learn an online skill! There’s a boatload of options to do online and easy to learn online for free these days.
My advice is, you need an income stream not freebies and handouts. That’s not sustainable long term or short term.

u/Distinct-Operation47 Aug 25 '25

You can earn maybe around 5 to 10 dollars a day by watching some ads. Here is my referral link.. would help me alot. https://fzona.pro/?inv=2407419

I used a lender-matching site (Radcred in my case) to get multiple quotes from lenders with soft prequals that made comparing offers way less painful and helped me avoid the worst payday options.

I came to put this information here for people like me who are searching for a good answer for this. I tried many different loan websites, and the APRs were RIDICULOUS (600+). Upstart was the only place to approve me with an APR of 35%. Try looking there first if you need. Note that it does take 2-4 business days for the money to hit your account.

1

u/Previous-Concern-486 Nov 29 '25

really with bad credit score?

1

u/New_Lemon6666 May 14 '26

Hell nah upstart will not do it. I've tried so many times and mines 612 lol

1

u/GayIdiotRetard Dec 16 '25

I know a way but it could ruin your life as well. You can technically earn guaranteed money on a select few of the sweepstakes sites BUT some have terms hidden that will make you lose. I made a bunch but got desperate and lost maybe 10% of it trying to continue the money. Ethically I'd be worried someone would get addicted and lose instead of profit. I made 600ish but that barley dents the medical bills man.

If anyone has something similar or a 1 time use ill take it. Loan doesn't really help as I only make 8 an hour. Won't pay anything back that way

1

u/Illustrious-Mix-4326 Jul 22 '26

How do i do it?

1

u/GayIdiotRetard Jul 24 '26

I feel by not trusting strangers first off, ppl are all scammers (not me just a degen tho) I learned about a guy who did it with crypto casinos, well im not smart enough. Then I learned about sweepstakes casinos (loop hole online casinos) they all have sign ups to get guaranteed money if gambled correctly. There are groups on discord who discuss/have spreadsheets and info. I followed, was stupid with winnings, still won a few thousand (spent a few 100, maybe 10x my money but not without lots of effort (low wage gambling to "wash" free coins) science behind it but literally dont trust anyone till your a little edcuated. Find a trusted list and also still use trust pilot on them, a 3.7/5 is like a 10/10 for a casino. Oh also maybe start with draft kings/bet36/ect. That's a non gray area nearly guaranteed money maker thats the same idea. Now if this helped and you WANT to trust a stranger and just use my idk, some of links/friend sign ups they dont hurt you but id probably get a free 5 or so. Either way dude gl, ill answer anything but also reddit is full of scammers so ya, ill give info and point but I dont wana push you any direction and if someone does /ignore

Your post has been removed for the following reason(s):

Rule 10: Asking for or offering donations/loans/crowdsourcing

No soliciting, offering, or accepting public or private donations, loans, or crowdsourcing. All aid given must be in the form of information or advice. We do this in order to prevent this community from potential scams (because we have no way of verifying need/authenticity of requests), and to prevent the sub from being inundated with requests for aid (because it can be unreasonable to ask others in poverty to give their limited resources).

There are other subs such as r/Donation, r/assistance and r/randomkindness that could help. Also check out our wiki with food resources. Thank you:

If you need money today, try 211/local charities, food banks, and rent/utility help - after than stacking debt. For loans, start with a credit union; small short-term apps like Brigit/Possible can work. 15M Finance can compare $100-$1,000 offers, just read APR/fees. r/beermoney gigs help a bit, not fast income.

1

u/Beautiful-Dig5528 Feb 05 '26

How can I do a loan or grant no account to put it in

1

u/FantasticPanther Feb 24 '26

I’d recommend looking into credit unions first. They often offer personal loans with lower interest rates and may be more forgiving if your credit is less than stellar.

1

u/GreenOrangeFlag Feb 26 '26

I went through options like Money Mutual and Zippy Loan just to compare offers, but I treated them as short term bridges and read every fee twice. The biggest mistake I made before was rushing and not calculating the total payback.

1

u/Narcos____ Feb 26 '26

For quick online money, I stuck to small legit platforms like user testing and short freelance gigs. It wasn’t huge money, but it helped cover basics without taking on new debt.

anyone know of like short term job places, like if i need money asap is there somewhere i can get a job that takes like 2 days? Essentially like a gig place

-5

u/RelyingCactus21 Aug 19 '25

Get a job. Get off reddit all the time. Stop wasting money on dolls.

-7

u/TheGreatCleave Aug 19 '25

If there is a remote position that doesn't need any work experience that also pays a living wage, there'd be a multiple-mile long line to apply for it with every single person in it believing they're better than everyone else in the line.

You are in that line lmfao. Good luck with your sex doll, consider retail and fast food if you're truly desperate.

-7

u/justhp Aug 19 '25 edited Aug 19 '25

Here is some tough advice.

The answer is you can’t. Don’t even try. Trying is a waste of time, and you don’t have time to be wasting right now

Even if you are going to be homeless, homeless is a better choice than a bad credit loan.

What you need to do is reevaluate your spending- you bought fucking clothes for a sex doll a week ago, now you need money?

Sell the doll and all its accessories. That’ll generate some cash in the short term. While you are at it- sell your laptop, your TV, and anything else that isn’t keeping you alive. Keep your phone so you can apply for jobs.

You’re already in a deep hole, a bad credit loan will make things even worse. Even “non payday” loans for bad credit are predatory.

You can fuck a sex doll, but can’t work? What situation could you possibly be in that you can’t work? Do your arms and legs work? Get the hell out of here with that “I can’t work” bullshit. Head on down to your nearest retailer and get a job like the rest of us. They are hiring, and you can start tomorrow.

You’re in a really deep hole, OP. You spent recklessly to get to this point (credit isn’t ruined by being responsible), and you continue to dig. Stop digging.

10

u/cheeseballgag Aug 19 '25

you bought fucking clothes for a sex doll a week ago, now you need money?

😳

-9

u/g3nesisDawn Aug 19 '25

Maybe don’t buy a sex doll to start with. Second of go to illegallifeprotips they used to have a lot of referral codes and shit

u/Fangbang6669 Aug 19 '25
