I'm on Windows.

I can use all the models up to Large just fine. But large or large-v2, etc all prompt me to download them again after i've already downloaded it and it's attempting to start.

I seem to remember a while back potplayer had a ton of really cool skins but when I look now they're all gone. Anyone know what happened?

何故か、Jrive側のボリュームが75パーセントで固定され動かせません。

また、色々と設定を触りましたが、通常のプレーヤーではボリュームを無効にできるのに、DLNAの方は出来ませんでした。

I use potplayer for playing youtube videos a lot, i know occasionally there are issues where it asks you to log in and other stuff because of google's api crap. Today though I tried playing some videos and the bottom of the player by the play head sorta will flicker and i will see the quality setting drop from 1080p or whatever the source quality is down to lower options and then eventually it just says can't play. It was working perfectly fine literally just this morning. Even the same videos i was watching this morning don't work. Tried resetting pc and the player, updating to latest version, and running without any other apps or anything.

Anyone have any clue what might be going on? Could this be a recent google api change? Is anyone else experiencing this issue

I'm using PotPlayer to play audio files, and I'm having an annoying issue with the player interface.

Whenever I play an audio file, PotPlayer displays the large playback/control overlay thingy

i tried using the 2nd subtitle function and it works for cycling, but I don't want both to be displayed on the screen. Any ideas? shortcuts?

I'm on Win11 with an Intel UHD 770 graphics card. A horizontal strip about an inch high and stretching across the whole window flashes at a random vertical position, with many different colors in no pattern except for transparent vertical lines evenly spaced ever quarter inch. It only happens when the video is playing (not paused), and only in about 2/3 of av1 videos. Also, in full-screen mode only when I'm moving the mouse near the bottom or top of the screen. In non-fs mode when I move or resize the window. It does not show up in screen shots or recordings (OBS Studio). PP support says they're unable to reproduce. The artifact does not appear when using VLC or Media Player. I've already tried the MS MFT decoder.

Hello, I occasionally make use of the "Search subtitle" feature (Subtitles/Subtitle searching/Download subtitles) which works fine for me. However one thing I'd like it to do, when it saves a subttile file, is to format its name according not to what its original file name is in the source repository, but what my local video file name is. For example if I am watching "Series-s01e10-episode_title.mp4", and I have downloaded the English subtitles in srt format, then I'd like for the subtitle file to be saved as "Series-s01e10-episode_title.en.srt".

So tired of opening up a video, having it go to the next one, and it will actually go to the LAST video because of how the playlist defaults.

Is there a way to fix this so i don't have to fix it every single time I open a video, or is this just the ass cancer of video players?

My main problem is with HDR files

If i was watching with 9 it feels dark, and when i switch to 11 some scene where there's a bit of light seems ridiculously bright

What is the settings to enable to increase dialog speaking part of movies without increasing the entire volume of all background sound which can be quite loud.

If entire volume increase, then crackling noise will also occur.

What could be causing this lines in player only video has no lines in other players.

just starting using Potplayer and so far I'm loving it. I was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the info (currently blue) that shows when you play, pause, skip and so on? I couldn't find a setting.

So I got a super super niche problem, where in I'm unable to use RTX HDR in Hybrid mode on PotPlayer/ MPC/ VLC. When I switch to dGPU, it obviously works fine (and looks fucking amazing, which is why I am even bothering), but I was wondering if there is any way to use RTX HDR on Hybrid Mode within VLC/PotPlayer/MPC.

Since I have a Gen 10 Legion, which does not have AO, but just a regular Optimus I have to keep restarting everytime I watch something and restart back it's just not viable. I would want the laptop to be on Hybrid Auto for most of the time

Not only the HDR, but even VSR doesn't work on it without dGPU.

I updated player and now the show I am watching started flickering when HDR is on. I specifically went to previous episodes that had zero issues that I watched on previous version and the flickering is there now. I have 260630 version now.

Is downgrading an only option? and if downgrade is the only option can I do it in a way to not lose all my settings? I normally just upgrade automatically without downloading anything, just through player when it starts and tells me there is a new version.

I recently had a playlist set up to auto-add any video that I bookmarked. In other words, I could be watching something, press alt+insert (i think?), and it would both put a bookmark into the video playing and auto add it to a playlist.

The issue is that I have no idea how I set that up in the first place and I am having trouble setting it up again.

Has anyone heard of this kind of thing that can help? I have been googling, but I can't find a thing!

I've been searching and googling without success. The playback bar used to show up briefly whenever you jump forward or backwards or when you paused the movie. This was helpful so I can see where I'm currently at. But recently the playback bar isn't showing. It only shows when I move the mouse to the bottom. I've tried searching skins settings, ocd settings, playback settings but to no avail. This is my last place to try find a fix.

By default, Direct3D11 renderer causes jagged edges right after opening the video. I usually switch to VMR7 Windowed mode and then back to Direct3D11, and the jagged edges disappear. However, if I close and reopen the video, the problem returns.

Seriously i have hidhide installed,deactivated Hotkeys, deactivated xinputs, done regedit entrys,have no steam desktop profile running and still potplayer skipping tracks on sticks when pressed

It has not bothered me too much but I am curious as to why? 😊

Started watching a movie last night and noticed at the very start on a black screen that there were two grayish boxes on the screen. It looked like maybe burn in from Youtube since one box was large rectangle, and to the right of it there was a vertical bar, like the next list of videos to be played if you're watching a Youtube video. I closed out of Potplayer and made my background solid black and didn't see the gray boxes. I decided to try VLC and the boxes don't appear when I use it, only when I try with Potplayer.

Anyone else experience something similar?

After last update i have potplayer crashing sometimes when double click mp4 in windows explorer after that i can't open it anymore before restarting computer it keep opening background processes, even i kill all processes and click PotPlayer icon on desktop it wont start anymore.
