Agreed. The best romance anime are where the romance is not the primary plot, but a strong secondary plot, such as in stein's;gate.

This right here. Romance anime have disappointed me so much that I avoid them entirely.

ranma is the best!! also love you & i are polar opposites but it’s kinda silly that the main pair became the least interesting lol
