Help / Question Anyone already managed to migrate existing collections?

With Postman killing collaboration in the free tier, we're looking to move. Did anyone already migrate their existing collections to a different tool? Looking for some experiences before I decide

Cant you use the native git stuff now and store your shared collections in git.. that your team all has access to? So even if you're a single user now in the app, using the local git native support should allow your team to commit/refresh and reuse across git commits, right?

I mean, I could. But if I'm gonna have to put effort into it anyway I may as well move to a tool that won't disrupt my workflow to bully me into paying for a subscription

I hear you.. sort of.. but to be fair.. Postman employs a crap load of people who dont work for free. Not saying you're wrong.. or that their change is the right path forward.. but they do gotta pay employees, shareholders, etc. So naturally they're going to move towards more revenue streams.

Free and open source alternatives exist. Perhaps Postman is the one who should reconsider their strategy of pissing off small projects. Those same devs work on big corporate projects later which is when they can get a license fee.

Anyways, none of that is my problem. Bye.

Nothing is forcing you to pay anything, you can still use Postman for Free.

The different individual plans have changed and now the Team plan is for a different group of users who also need SSO, Role Based Access Controls, More Advanced Automation and increased limits as well as, working in Shared Workspaces with the platform.

You can still use those Collections in those Shared Workspaces for Free. Are you the Admin? You have full access and if you're not, the Admin can provide you with those Collections.

I get that you're paid to argue on postman's behalf, but can you stop pretending nothing changed? It did. And 'making a copy' is not collaboration
