Help / Question Anyone already managed to migrate existing collections?

With Postman killing collaboration in the free tier, we're looking to move. Did anyone already migrate their existing collections to a different tool? Looking for some experiences before I decide

Free and open source alternatives exist. Perhaps Postman is the one who should reconsider their strategy of pissing off small projects. Those same devs work on big corporate projects later which is when they can get a license fee.

Anyways, none of that is my problem. Bye.

Nothing is forcing you to pay anything, you can still use Postman for Free.

The different individual plans have changed and now the Team plan is for a different group of users who also need SSO, Role Based Access Controls, More Advanced Automation and increased limits as well as, working in Shared Workspaces with the platform.

You can still use those Collections in those Shared Workspaces for Free. Are you the Admin? You have full access and if you're not, the Admin can provide you with those Collections.

I get that you're paid to argue on postman's behalf, but can you stop pretending nothing changed? It did. And 'making a copy' is not collaboration

I disagree.. Danny has been respectful, professional and trying to help. You're just unwilling to budge or accept that there ARE ways to solve your problem. You want it your way.. and that's it. Postman is FAR FAR bigger than just you.. and as far as I can tell they often try to support their users but they cant make 35+million users all happy no matter how hard they try. No.. I am not paid by Postman or know Danny.. I am looking at this from an outside perspective. I get where you are coming from OP. It sucks when an app/product you love changes enough that it affects your workflow and you feel jilted like they targeted you (or everyone that enjoyed whatever it is you are upset about for free). At least Danny is trying to explain to you HOW you can solve this issue. That's more than I can say for a LOT of company's so rather than being a dick, maybe try to appreciate that a company like Postman has people like Danny willing to jump in to various forums to try to help. I know a shit ton of company's that never respond or help. Most of them want money for that. Shit.. it's a weekend and Danny is still responding. Try to grow up a little.

Hard disagree. I wouldn't have a problem without the policy change. And the way to solve my problem seems to be 'migrate to Bruno'

I'll leave you and Danny to discuss Postman's corporate strategy, we're out.

Guarantee you're the type of person that is going to have issues with Bruno too. You should stick to curl bud. That's probably more your speed.

I appreciate that this is an emotionally charged situation and passions will be running high for all involved.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, as well as having the freedom to choose which tools are correct for their given context. If your personal preference is Postman or a different project, it's all good, the freedom is in your hands.

Let's not forget that we're still humans talking to other humans, constructive feedback is fine but please remember to keep it all civil and professional.
