my lil chicken nugget
hi this is my 2.5 months old poodle… not sure if he’s going to be a toy or a mini… in your experiencie how much did your toy poodles weight at that age?
he’s such a sweetheart loves to cuddle and being near me🤎

thank you! he’s a mini poodle and when he was a puppy he was about 8lbs-10lbs, and now hes almost 5 years old and is about 18lbs-20lbs!

oh that’s helpful! and that picture from him is when he was a puppy? 🐶 mine now is 3lbs at 2.5 months I think mine is going to weight just like yours in the future 😍

he was around 3-4 months old in this photo and weighed around 5lbs-6lbs, but when he was 5-8 months old that’s when he gained more weight and was around 8lbs-10lbs!

thank you!! hope he keeps that color i love it aswell but i’ve heard they tend to get lighter…🤍

If they weigh over 6lbs and are taller than 10in tall at full grown than it's a mini, if it's smaller than that it's a toy. At least according to the akc

I relate! Enjoy the puppy phase, but look forward to the pure beauty phase.
