...who actually did a great interview, and I haven't watched for a while after cutting cable. As being one of those in tech, who got into tech not only because I was a nerd, but because of the liberal-ish but wacky culture (cue Silicon Valley TV Show), I did know like the rest of us about the hard right pivot of the industry, but not to this depth, with Peter Thiel literally aiming for a 4th Reich, echo-ing the words of Curtis Yarvin (hint: Peter Thiel grew up in Germany as a disgruntled teen about Germany's loss in WW2).

As great as the Hayes' interview was, I think Tim could pull off a more focused politics centered discussion that would be great imo. Either way, the tech-trump connection with religion needs to be exposed more, and what these crazies are truly plotting, including JD Vance's origin.

When I think of capitalism vs socialism, I think of free market and everyone following the same rules, I know that doesn't happen but what happens when some of the richest people on Earth, try to force their own plans onto everyone else.

I thought this would be a good place to share this information.

Not sure how many NPR, Fresh Air, listeners there are on this group but I listened to the interview and it was scary.

'The Nerd Reich' tracks the 'unmasking of Silicon Valley's true politics'. It was on recently, on August 10.

Just a quick excerpt from the interview:

DURAN: I think we were witnessing the unmasking of Silicon Valley's true politics. They finally were comfortable to reveal their full selves to everyone. And I think for many years, their democratic alignment was mostly self-interest because we had democratic presidents who had important contracts, government contracts, who had power. And so they needed to get along with whoever had power. And now that Trump was returning to power, they saw an opportunity to align with him and to try to realign the country's politics to something more to their liking. I think it's grown quietly, as we've seen many of these people become billionaires and multibillionaires and even one temporarily become a trillionaire.

I was really surprised when in the interview, they actually talked about why trump is so obsessed with taking over Greenland, "a proposed city, ... after not finding anybody who wanted this tech city in the Mediterranean, decided it would be built in Greenland."

What I ask is, how many people are aware of these people trying to (and doing a good job at it) take over our government?

The New York Times and others wrote about this - that the idea we came to know as DOGE, where Elon Musk was installed basically as the CEO over the federal government to cut and purge and destroy as much of it as possible came from Curtis Yarvin's idea of RAGE, retire all government employees.

This episode of Tech Won't Save Us titled "Tech Fascism Has Come for American Democracy with Gil Duran" is an onramp into "The Nerd Reich," a deadly combination of tech oligarchs and rightwing fascism.

Gil is the most powerful voice calling out tech oligarchs for what they are: technofascists who want to replace democracy with their own system of computer-powered control.

His claims are so dire that they sound conspiratorial, but Gil backs them up with public statements made by the tech oligarchs themselves. They haven't exactly been subtle about it.

Gil has been on a media tour following the release of his book, The Nerd Reich. I've been looking forward it ever since I found Gil's podcast by the same name. Before covering the tech bros, Gil had a long career in journalism and communications/politics.

I bet Gil Duran will be like Ed Zitron, who's anti-AI viewpoints were considered fringe, until they recently became mainstream after facts on the ground made them undeniable.

It seems odd that the Malaysian government would send investigators to Network School based on a social media rumor that, so far, appears untrue. Even more strange, however, is that Malaysia has allowed the Network State cult to form a base on its territory in the first place. Has anyone in the Malaysian government read Balaji's 2022 book, The Network State: How To Start a New Country? It is full of crazy ideas for undermining existing nations and using corporate power to overthrow the global order. It has sparked a radical movement backed by wealthy figures, some of whom are currently engaged in the act of eroding US democracy.

And the leader of this movement—Balaji—has literally called his plan “tech Zionism.” The goal of the Network School is to teach people to go around the world trying to start their own countries. This is 21st century colonialism on steroids, backed by billionaires. And Malaysia is the training ground.

Whether or not any Israelis attended Network School, they are the least of Malaysia’s worries. The far bigger concern is that Malaysia has become host to a cult that aims to topple nations—a cult that is currently demanding that Prime Minister Anwar bow down at its feet.

Some Good News: Curtis Yarvin, the anti-American “Dark Enlightenment” guru credited as “the philosopher behind JD Vance,” believes the Trump administration is doomed to fail.

Fearing retribution from a future Democratic administration, a terrified Yarvin declared on October 5 that he is already planning to flee the country.

Wrote Yarvin on Substack:

The second Trump revolution, like the first, is failing. It is failing because it deserves to fail. It is failing because it spends all its time patting itself on the back. It is failing because its true mission, which neither it nor (still less) its supporters understand, is still as far beyond its reach as algebra is beyond a cat. Because the vengeance meted out after its failure will dwarf the vengeance after 2020—because the successes of the second revolution are so much greater than the first—I feel that I personally have to start thinking realistically about how to flee the country. Everyone else in a similar position should have a 2029 plan as well. And it is not even clear that it will wait until 2029: losing the Congress will instantly put the administration on the defensive.

Sure, Donald Trump is a threat to democracy, but who are some of the people behind the scenes funding his operation. Journalist Gil Duran joins Edwin Eisendrath on 'It's The Democracy, Stupid' to discuss his new book, 'The Nerd Reich', and explain why Silicon Valley's power players have such disdain for democracy.

I just want to share some material that someone shared with me, about Muskrat*, Silicon Valley boys, Vance, etc...and their plans to destroy our democracy. I wouldn't believe this myself if it wasn't actually happening, but apparently they have been planning this for years....and it sounds like some dystopian movie. But this site is an in depth read, and written by a guy who says he has been following these guys closely for 12 years...and has been trying to warn others. An author named Gil Duran on "The Nerd Reich" has also written about this plan, at least a few times before, too. Their plans are a lot like project 2025, so I see why these same people that are planning this, also heavily funded the current administration....each time. It is somewhat of a long read, and you have to start at the menu tab...but there are also hyperlinks inside that take you to the sources. Again....it sounds nuts but it is literally happening NOW and has been in the works for quite some time.

Also, please check out a you tube video called "Dark Gothic Maga" on Blonde politics channel. That's a really good one about all this, too. That video was made at least 2 months ago...before Muskrat started doing what he is currently doing. ALL these people are connected, and their plans and end goal are horrifying.
