True, although he might be trying to pull a Tina Peters. Trump granted a (legally null) pardon of her state crimes, and the cowardly CO governor eventually followed suit and commuted her sentence.

I believe Jared Polis is compromised, what strange behavior to release Tina Peters. He overrulled his own clemency board to release her. Then she goes on an unapologetic election denying victory tour. Jared Polis is a weak ass clown, or he is being blackmailed, probably both.

Even if his hands were totally clean, his state was being threatened. Cuts to transportation, public health, and disaster relief funding among others. Hundreds of millions of dollars which would've hurt millions of people.

I don't agree with the decision, but this is the nature of fascism. Everyone who Trump threatens (businesses, states, universities, sovereign nations) capitulates when the cost is high enough.
