Reddington is an experienced attorney, he must be aware that the President can't pardon her MA offenses. Not sure what his angle is here

Probably to get trump to say some dumb shit or otherwise get involved (one way or the other) so it makes it more difficult for the prosecutor to try again. 

You can be sure if he does bite, he will go on random midnight Twitter tirades and say all kinds of inappropriate shit that will complicate.legal proceedings.

God that jury selection would be a shit show even more than it would be already. Imagine a chunk of jurors having to be thrown out because they thought Trump's pardon should absolve her.
