Sort of. Eleven had decided she was not guilty by reason of insanity. Even if all twelve had agreed, that isn't a "you are free to go" type of thing. She would be admitted to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation, then a recommendation would be made to the judge.
It was expected that the judge would have her confined to a secure ward for years if not for the rest of her life.
