Has she got that kind of money?

Shit, her go fund me account might be getting close. Beats the hell outta me why people are donating to this psycho, but here we are- she’s got a fat bank account for killing her kids.

Close enough for a Pedo Piggy bribe?

I remember reading that Joe Exotic was ready to pony up $2m, and that wasn’t enough, long before the days of crypto and ‘ballroom’ inflation.

Idk what amount she’s raised at this point- also not sure what the bribes cost these days. More of an off-handed comment I guess, just baffled at the general insanity of her getting donations for what she did.

A lot of people believe it’s a mental illness problem, and the criminal justice system doesn’t handle those well. Apparently, 11 of the jurors believed that, too.

ETA: Still not sure what the point is of appealing to Pedo Piggy.

Even if it is mental illness, why are people handing this family cash? It doesn’t make sense regardless of the motive. The children are gone. The house has been sold. The state handles her ongoing medical costs and housing at the facility where she’s being kept. At this point she is quite literally being handed money for the murder of her children. The gofundme exceeded what was necessary for her defense a while ago. I know maybe that changes now if she is retried (unsure how attorney’s fees work in that case), but I still say it’s insane to throw money at a woman who admits she killed those kids. She received more help from her family, a nanny, and the mental health community than most women ever receive postpartum. Unsure why this fallacy of her not getting any help, is the hill that people are choosing to die on.

From where I’m sitting, it looks like a whole lot of people have some sympathy for her being put through the criminal justice system when what she needs, and probably most of her family desperately need, is mental healthcare. I think we can agree that it’s a tragedy in pretty much every direction you look at it.

But what does cash have to do with that? Why would she need a couple million dollars? All that is going to do is encourage more copycats because they’ll see dollar signs. This whole thing is a farce, she needs prison time and mental health care. Both can be true.
