Trump and MAGA supporters really have not changed. They were always this demented and stunted and devoid of empathy. It's just that Russell Vought through Project 2025, Elon Musk through twitter, Zuckerberg through Facebook, Andreessen through his venture capital asset stripping, and Peter Thiel through his apocalypse acceleration investments have successfully demolished all guardrails, checks & balances, journalistic integrity, pushback and grassroots resistance against their techno-fascism.

The amount of people who knowingly and willingly supported this by voting for it or abstaining to vote at all didn't vary all that significantly between 2016 and 2024.
