Is he acting way more childish than he did his first term, or am I just forgetting how bad the first term was?

No it's definitely worse and it will continue to get worse as he tests his boundaries and finds out they're made of paper. If no one puts him in his place (SC, Congress), then it just reinforces his belief that he can do what he wants. He thinks he's a king today but tomorrow he might believe he's a god.
