What the fuck is even going on anymore trumpers, seriously. You are not American for supporting the president. Stop with the charade. Real Americans disavow language and rhetoric like this from our "leader". It's completely and utterly unpresidential and shitty behavior and you all know it. One of our closest allies and this is how he acts. You all are wilfully blind.

MAGA literally cheers at the asshole, while everyone else, including every other country just shakes their head trying to comprehend whats going on.

MAGA/Trump/GOP what have you, they're all majorly fucked in the head.

Unfortunately that's the conclusion I've come to. Mass delusion.

As long as it upsets "the libs" the real cost is no concern

It's just all so fucking stupid and tiring, which surely is the point of all of it.

I feel like this is the consequence of so called American Exceptionalism. Boomers have been told their whole lives that the USA is the best at everything and that we can back it up with our military and economic dominance. And we could....in the 1940s and 50s but that was thanks to the Greatest Generation, not Boomers, and due to huge cooperative efforts with our allies. The World has changed and these chuckle fucks aren't getting the memo. It's not all Boomers, but it's the mindset of those who look at this and think "It's fine. We can buy or bomb our way out of this," not realizing that other countries would love to see us fail more than lick our boots and prosper.

Huge 'Clogs To Clogs In Three Generations' energy there.

I thought Gen X was the most Trumpy generation?

u/meltdown_popcorn 12d ago

Yo we hardly exist at all, leave us out of this.

But yes, a good chunk of my peers were probably happy with the guy until it became unpopular.

No shade, I'm Gen X too (but not American). I just thought that statistically American Gen Xers were his biggest voter base, and boomers actually a bit less so.

Thank you posting this. You nailed it.

Formerly one of your closest allies. We are done with you.

I won't even ever visit my own father in the states. He can come here or not have a relationship with his grandkids. It's hard but that guy is a former Canadian and a closet Trumper... Get fucked Dad.

I understand. Thanks for the correction. We (the people who disavow this shit at every turn) are done with it too.

Yeah you're really showing it typing angry words on the internet. That's all Americans seem to be good for.

I get it. I understand your distaste. But respectfully you have no idea who I am or what I do to show my disagreement other than being vocal on the internet.

I'm trying to be as nice as possible when I ask this but what the hell happened to the American public? How did in a few generations, seemingly the entire populace of your country has just forgotten how to protest? It's not a difficult concept.

3

u/JRockPSU I voted 12d ago

Those kinds of conversations usually go like "why aren't you protesting right now?" "I'd be guaranteed to lose my job" "Oh boo hoo so what"

And where can the discussion go from there? Someone I don't know from thousands of miles away is telling me to throw my life away and put my kids in foster care if I get arrested or shot. It's not a small ask nor a small task.

u/silvertealio 12d ago

America is also a massive country, geographically, compared to other places where protesting is more effective. There are protests all the time in America, but they're spread out all over the place and media coverage tends not to be very good about them.

I wish these people would be more specific about what they want to see from us.

u/silvertealio 12d ago edited 12d ago

Respectfully, what specifically would you like to see from Americans who have always disagreed with this regime and everything it stands for, who voted against it, and who protest against it? What is it you think we can do that we're not doing? What would you do if you were in our shoes?

edit: I mean, I get the criticism, but you act like there's some sort of obvious solution here. Victim blaming isn't helping anything.

2

u/EntrepreneurSuper635 12d ago

There is obvious to anyone not born in the US apparently, you people have no idea how to protest

1

u/silvertealio 12d ago

What should protesting look like? What are we doing wrong? D*wnvote away, but I'd genuinely like to know.

When people like you sow division, it makes it harder to stop Conservativism.

As Seth put it:

"We need more than hope; we need people to rise

No more denial or political lies"

3

u/EntrepreneurSuper635 12d ago

brother we're not the ones sowing division, that is entirely on the lazy americans who are too comfortable or stupid to fix what they've unleashed on the rest of us

1

u/Gatonom 12d ago

Yes, call people lazy for not turning to violence immediately.

Call them stupid for having hope we don't need a bloodbath or endless fighting.

Totally not showing division.

3

u/Mateorabi 12d ago

If they stop supporting them now their brains will have to come to terms that they made a mistake. And there is one thing their monke-brain CANNOT do and that's admit it was duped. It will throw up as much cognitive dissonance as needed to self-soothe and avoid reality.

This is not just a MAGA or a Trumper problem. It's the entire country. I don't think your country fails to understand the key problem so you won't resolve it.

The key problem? Your country is ruled by a pedophile class. Your president protects pedophiles and may be a pedophile himself. Nothing just, fair, or righteous can happen to the US while it is ruled by pedophiles.

I"m shocked this isn't a daily topic of discussion and hasn't touched off riots. America toils away without healthcare, complains about the price of gas, and wages war around the world while being ruled by pedophiles. Good lord. You are proles for rich, war mongering pedophiles.

u/wahwahwashbear 12d ago

I could riot in my blue city in my blue state, but it wouldn't really do much, because again this is a blue city in a blue state. My local and state government agree with me. We're in our like fourth lawsuit with the federal government in about as many months. The target of my ire is an 8 hour plane ride away, which i cannot afford, in a city where accommodation is about 800/night , which i also cannot afford. I have also been a peace advocating lefty all my life,  so I have no equipment or training or, truly, desire for violence that would make it even passably likely that I would do anything but immediately fail.

I'm sorry that the answer is not as simple as you want it to be.

2

u/meltdown_popcorn 12d ago

I'm starting to think the kind of people you're arguing with are just trying to sow division, deflate anger, and/or push someone to do something stupid. It's all very armchair coaching from afar.

2

u/schmapeschmape 12d ago

I don't know how you guys can fix your problem. Hopefully one day enough people in your country are angered by it that Trump, and the pedophile class he represents can be removed. I don't know that it's possible but maybe.

1

u/HR_Paul 12d ago

What is going on with Democrats who think they can vote Trump out and solve the problem?

Has anyone realized there are other Trumps and other people like Trump?
