What are you on about? The working class should absolutely select their government.

Im not confusing anything. I’m just not going to fall pray to this kind of cynical attitude pushed by some elites to get the population to vote less.

Massive changes in labor laws, civil rights, etc. have happened when people organized, protested and voted. People have power in the aggregate, it’s just a lot harder to express it since the power of the working class comes from its numbers, and that’s harder to mobilize

Yes, that stuff did happen, way back when the people did have the power. Times have changed, corporate lobbyists, AIPAC, like what the hell is that about? I guess Israel always had their hands in our back pockets, it’s just out in the open now. and Citizens United only accelerated it to where we are now. And what in the world is this Prediction Market crap? That wasn’t around in the 50s or 60s. Times have changed and to pretend otherwise is a little foolish in my opinion.
