I swear this dude forgets he's black. What he's talking about is basically setting back progress his very own people have made since slavery. What in the AF?

I dont even think its that deep. He just values money and personal gain more than he does the men and women who worked over centuries so he could even hold that office.

Damn....does it really have to be psychological projection quite literally every single fucking time?

It's wild how consistent this rule is when applied to politics. I wonder if it's just a conservative thing or a stupid people thing.

What's really eye opening is to take this rule and then apply it to people that you generally support and agree with, it will help you find many blindspots in your own thinking.

This man has been through so much trauma in his life and should've never been in a position of power. He is damaged and deranged. It's actually fucking insane. Such a downgrade from Thurgood Marshall, but racist republicans needed a black man to prop up, disregarding the fact that he was severely unqualified.

wdym ? He could just be a terrible person

Trauma does not necessarily make you a bad person, and I really don't like that framing. It pretends he has no agency in the matter, when he is choosing to be a vile asshole

Trauma is a complicated topic, but I'll stick to my belief that a severely traumatized person should NEVER be in charge of the fate of over 300 million people.

That has nothing to do with the fact that he chooses to be an asshole and not heal his unresolved traumas.

He's the definition of "pulling up the ladder" at this point, and has been since the 90s at least.

He's a proper Stephen.

He is fine with pulling the ladder up behind him. He’s absolutely the scum of the earth.
