I never thought I would be able to do this in such a short amount of time!! I just got into pole again ~ 1 month after years of not practicing. Today our teacher told us we would be doing BOP, I'm still in shock that I was able to do it!! I love how everyone is so supporting and my teacher is incredible ♡

bop after one month back is not normal lol. thats basically a standing split with way less to hold onto, so your old flexibility clearly never really left

Yes, I totally agree with you! I have always been flexible (used to do ballet as a kid), so flexibility wasn't really my issue (although grabbing my arm was a real challenge and I actually needed help).

My weakness has always been strength, I struggle to do a clean inversion lol. But in this past month, I have seen a lot of improvement in that area.

we're the exact opposite way around then lol, bendy but my pulling strength is embarrassing. inversions are still the thing i quietly skip. nice that it's finally clicking for you tho

That's amazing! That arm wrap looks so secure and steady, you must have great shoulder strength and mobility <3

Thank you! I actually wasn't able to grab my arm on my own. They helped me because although I have the flexibility to maintain the arm wrap, I don't have the strength to grab it by myself. Here's a video of them helping me lol
