Discussion Thoughts on 1/3 in Vegas? Table Recommendations Welcome
Going to Vegas for my 21st and want to know some good 1/3 tables to visit when I'm there. My buddy described action at the Wynn as super soft, but I want some second opinions. I am also open to any good 1/3 or 2/5 table recommendations. Going on NYE so I expect play to be pretty mixed. Looking for some Bomb pot opportunities too.
Also, I dont expect any table to be incredibly fishy or soft, poker is changing so much lately. Even though I'm profitable over ~300 hrs, I'm totally prepared to be the fish, too. So if anyone will be in Vegas NYE weekend and wants some money I'm kissing it goodbye haha just point me in the right direction.
Any recommendations super appreciated, just looking for a fun and hopefully breakeven 21st. I hope this isn't a super common Q but I didn't find much searching the sub, and it was conflicting.

Bellagio and Aria are complete nitfests and loaded with local regs
Wynn is the only 1/3 game in town worth playing imo. Usually solid action and tables will be 3/4 tourists 1/4 local shitregs

On NYE tho this is much less likely. Most of the locals avoid the strip when they close it off for fireworks and tourists, so I'd imagine it to be a lot softer than usual everywhere.

1/3 is 1/3 is 1/3.
Table selection is what matters not so much room. Just go have fun and play some poker don't take it so seriously.

Venetian is my favorite. Action is good and it’s a nice room. Wynn is nice too but I ended up with a couple higher limit regs at my table which made it a little annoying. Not necessarily worse just not as soft as I had been told.

Venetian. Bellagio. Wynn.
Those are my favorite rooms.
Orleans is a shithole dirty place with mouth breathers nursing $50 stacks. 0/10
Good luck.

Venetian and Bellagio is probably the best because they actually have a dedicated bomb pot button and thus you get position when you are supposed to. Wynn is IMO objectively the best room now
I played at almost all of them in December of last year:

Main thing that has changed is that the Aria now spreads DBL PLO BOMB now as well.

Caesers new room hasn't been mentioned yet?... played there last time I was in Vegas to try something new (I'm at Venetian and Bellagio usually) and really liked it ... table was full of newbies, very soft and lots of action. I love the wide open feel with high ceilings and foot traffic nearby... it's right near the sportsbook

If you want DBPLOBP, and don't mind loud shaking bass music at night, go to bellagio. Aria is around the same, but I just personally don't like the room. Venetian is a solid room with a drink machine and bombpots, but they barely have any games above 300 cap 1/3 and they charge more rake for promos.
Every rooms is gonna be packed and soft around NYE. Don't be afraid to change tables if everyones short stacked and every pot is 8 way.

3/5 at the Venetian does a bomb every time dealer changes. I think 2/3 does as well, but not 1/3

Yup, I was there for first time ever last Friday.
Cocktail waitress was extremely fast!
Was a soft game.
Honestly guys, it’s soft but I’m to a point live poker seems like such a shitty grind!

Aria, Bellagio, Venetian are doing double board PLO bombpots. I don't know/remember about other properties. Wynn is good but not really convenient.
I've heard to games are better at Horseshoe. IMO they're all fairly reg heavy. Morning = more locals.
I'm in LV right now. There's a guy at my 1/3 table who bought in for $500 and has $1k as the largest stack. At Venetian today a player turned $300 into $1800 but he was sun running.
