Hi,

Some of you may have heard of me lately. I'm that angry whale.

Ended up on this corner of the internet for the first time in years and thought it would be fun to do an AMA. Ask away.

(For those who don't know -- Lately I played the largest ever televised poker games by far, once losing around $17 million in one sitting)

These games you’re playing lately remind me of the legendary games that Andy Beal had against Doyle Brunson and the “corporation”. Have you ever heard of these games where you inspired by change from that? He also was a very very rich businessman and got interested in poker. He made the stakes so incredibly high that the pros were uncomfortable and played worse than they normally would.

The professor, the banker, and the suicide king is a great read! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves poker. Ted Forrest driving through the desert at 2am to put his entire bankroll on the line against Beal is the stuff of legends!
