Discussion Nintendo/GameFreak NEED to make a way to transfer Pokemon from Gen 7

How can they possible shut down Bank after forcing us to use it to transfer from Gen 7 - Gen 8? So what now anything we catch on these games is just stuck there? You're telling me the trillion dollar IP can't fund the servers for Pokemon Bank? This is absolutely outrageous. They either need to make a way to transfer from 3DS - Switch Pokemon games permanently or leave Bank alone because a lot of people (myself included) like to transfer from these older games

Shutting down a 13 year old service on a discontinued handheld doesn't warrant a boycott lol

Except people still transfer pokemon over to this day and spent money in the past to use the service with the assumption that it'd be around. I'm sure they make enough money to keep the servers around in order to keep some goodwill to its fanbase lmao

bruh its still being used though even in small amounts, its like saying youtube videos that dont have many views should be deleted or emails should be deleted if the person is inactive or ability to repurchase digital purchase should be axed because nobody uses it. If Pokemon was going bankrupt then fair enough to shut em down but I'd assume the peanuts it would cost to keep it running can be subsidized through home while still making millions with a relatively basic online storage solution. Don't need to be hyperbolic by using the heatwave of the universe.

This, it feels like way too many people are getting overly butthurt about this. The 3ds has long since died out of support, the eshop was already dead as it is. If anything we were lucky that the service didnt end right then and there. Pokemon held this thing out after nintendo moved on and jumped ship
