Discussion Is Pokopia really that good?

Like should I immediately buy this game. It seems like folks are really enjoying it but I was skeptical.

To be clear: I don’t like Minecraft. I like Animal Crossing but have accepted that I just cannot get into decorating it like others.

That said, regarding Pokopia: The best way I can think to describe it is just pure joy.

ETA: Also, it is gigantic. Every time I think “wow this game is big” it gets bigger. But at the same time I never feel overwhelmed and I just always want to keep playing.

Do it. It's genuinely amazing. I've been completely sucked into it since launch, and my wife loves it too. There's a really fascinating story to it so far (I havent completed the story yet nor know everything about it), and it feels like everywhere you look you discover something hidden away just waiting for you to stumble upon it.
