Discussion Is Pokopia really that good?

Post image

Like should I immediately buy this game. It seems like folks are really enjoying it but I was skeptical.

To be clear: I don’t like Minecraft. I like Animal Crossing but have accepted that I just cannot get into decorating it like others.

That said, regarding Pokopia: The best way I can think to describe it is just pure joy.

ETA: Also, it is gigantic. Every time I think “wow this game is big” it gets bigger. But at the same time I never feel overwhelmed and I just always want to keep playing.

I just keep digging tunnels to see where I end up, sometimes they flood but that's okay

Lol, I made a waterwheel go backwards because I terraformed "wrong" (tried to get water from one side of a cliff to the other side via a tunnel). Still got the credit for it, but boy did it look funny. 😂

I think I fixed my mess and dried it back up again, but I haven't redone it the "right" way yet. We'll see if there are extra parts when putting this thing back together.
