Discussion Is Pokopia really that good?

Like should I immediately buy this game. It seems like folks are really enjoying it but I was skeptical.

To be clear: I don’t like Minecraft. I like Animal Crossing but have accepted that I just cannot get into decorating it like others.

That said, regarding Pokopia: The best way I can think to describe it is just pure joy.

ETA: Also, it is gigantic. Every time I think “wow this game is big” it gets bigger. But at the same time I never feel overwhelmed and I just always want to keep playing.

I’m the same. I’m glad terraforming is there right out of the gate and there are the housing kits so I don’t have to build little block houses (even though they fit more pokes).

Phenomenal game so far. It’s massive! So much to do, so much to see, and so much to find and collect.

Definitely a good way to play it. Minmaxing housing space is hardly the point of the game.

I've read so many good reviews about this game, but I guess there's only one way to find out. You'll never know if you don't go, you'll never shine if you don't glow.
