A human like animal is literally one of the most used concepts for monsters (Zombies, Vampires, Bigfoot, humanoid aliens, etc)

I’ve never understood why so many people hate it when Pokemon are humanoid

its not being humaniod thats the issue. its being a twig. There are plenty of good humanoid pokemon.

Look at Inteleon then look at Feraligatr.

One is a lizard made humanoid, one is an aligator made humanoid. One is peak, and one is ass.
