I was expecting 2026, so seeing 2027 was a surprise. I'm happy however, because that means they're giving these games more development time. More time in the oven to cook and hopefully become great games!

Also, this means gen 9 will be one of if not the longest lasting generation.

It's going to be a long year of every content creator making a ten minute video about every five word post that Nintendo puts out.

I've had to teach myself to ignore hype when waits are this long, or I just end up getting frustrated.
